Our industry-leading portfolio is comprised of pacemakers, defibrillators, and implantable cardiac monitors, all of which transmit data to programmers and patient device monitors. This data is then used to help clinicians make informed decisions about how to best treat patients over the lifetime of the device. Programmers, patient device monitors, and CareLink™ software combine to serve as the Patient Care Systems (PCS) portfolio.

We are seeking a passionate, strategic, and customer-focused Senior Product Marketing Specialist to lead commercialization, product marketing, and adoption initiatives across Medtronic's Device Manager portfolio. This individual will play a critical role in developing and executing go-to-market strategies, driving product adoption, shaping connected care messaging, and supporting the successful launch of innovative technologies that improve clinician workflows and patient outcomes.
The Senior Product Marketing Specialist will partner closely with Product Management, Sales, Medical Education, Marketing Communications, Clinical, Global Marketing, and Commercial Excellence teams to develop and implement strategies that increase healthcare professional awareness, belief, utilization, and advocacy of Medtronic Device Manager solutions. This role combines strategic thinking, customer insights, commercialization expertise, and cross-functional leadership to drive business growth and portfolio success.
Commercialization & Go-to-Market Leadership
Lead commercialization planning and go-to-market execution for new Device Manager portfolio products, software releases, and strategic enhancements.
Develop and execute integrated product marketing and communications plans across promotional activities, digital channels, campaigns, sales initiatives, and customer engagement programs.
Partner across Product Management, Medical Education, Communications, Clinical, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure launch readiness and successful adoption throughout the customer journey.
Establish launch objectives, adoption goals, and success metrics while driving organizational alignment around commercialization priorities.
Product Marketing & Customer Insights
Serve as a strategic marketing partner to the Patient Care Systems organization, providing guidance on market opportunities, customer needs, positioning, messaging, and portfolio strategy.
Translate complex technology capabilities into customer-centric benefits that improve clinical efficiency, operational performance, and patient care.
Develop differentiated value propositions and messaging frameworks that resonate with clinicians, device clinic staff, administrators, health systems, and field teams.
Act as the subject matter expert on customer needs, market dynamics, and competitive trends to influence business strategy and strengthen market leadership.
Adoption Growth & Business Performance
Partner with product managers and business leaders to establish adoption targets and develop strategies that accelerate customer engagement, utilization, and long-term portfolio growth.
Monitor adoption trends, campaign performance, and business metrics to identify opportunities, address barriers to adoption, and optimize marketing investments.
Measure and communicate the impact of commercialization and marketing initiatives through meaningful performance metrics and executive reporting.
Develop recommendations and action plans that drive deeper market penetration and customer value realization as a leader in connected cardiac care and device management solutions.
Global Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership
Collaborate closely with global marketing and regional partners to align commercialization strategies, support international expansion efforts, and share best practices across markets.
Represent regional customer needs and insights to help inform future product roadmap decisions and strategic investments.
Influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive alignment, accountability, and execution excellence across multiple initiatives.
Foster strong partnerships across CRM and PCS organizations to ensure successful execution of business priorities.
Customer Engagement & Advocacy
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the electrophysiology and device management ecosystem, including physicians, allied professionals, device clinic staff, administrators, and health system leaders.
Lead customer meetings, advisory board, and engagement activities to gather insights and develop customer advocates.
Support the development of clinical education programs, customer training initiatives, and field enablement resources that improve product utilization and customer success.
Advocate for patients and clinicians by identifying unmet needs and helping shape solutions that improve outcomes and experiences.
Executive Communication & Business Reviews
Develop executive-ready business reviews and presentations that communicate portfolio performance, launch readiness, customer insights, adoption trends, and growth opportunities.
Present recommendations and strategic updates to CRM and PCS leadership teams.
Communicate progress, risks, opportunities, and key business decisions in a clear and actionable manner.
MUST HAVE: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Requires a Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
MBA or advanced degree.
Experience supporting product launches, commercialization programs, or product lifecycle management initiatives.
Experience with connected care, remote monitoring, software, digital health, or healthcare technology solutions.
Experience developing executive-level presentations and business reviews.
Familiarity with customer journey mapping, adoption analytics, and customer experience optimization.
Experience working across global and regional marketing organizations.
Knowledge of cardiac rhythm management, electrophysiology, remote monitoring, or related cardiovascular technologies.
Demonstrated experience developing and executing marketing, commercialization, or go-to-market initiatives.
Experience leveraging customer insights, market research, and competitive intelligence to influence business decisions and portfolio strategy.
Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
Experience translating business objectives into effective marketing and commercialization strategies.
Ability to manage multiple priorities across a portfolio of products and initiatives while driving successful outcomes.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.
Proven ability to lead through influence and successfully partner across cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint, Excel, and related business applications.
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time for customer engagement, market visits, conferences, and internal meetings.
