Summary of Role:
The Microsoft 365 Copilot & Collaboration Engineer provides operational and engineering expertise across Microsoft 365, with a focus on AI-powered workplace productivity. This role leads the development, administration, governance, security, compliance, and adoption of Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Teams, SharePoint, and related collaboration technologies. You will drive enterprise-scale AI enablement while ensuring operational excellence, governance adherence, and an exceptional employee experience.
Essential Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Copilot agents using Copilot Studio and pro-code methods, including custom Copilot connectors, plugins, and API integrations.
- Define and implement governance policies for Copilot agents and Power Platform environments, aligned with enterprise security and compliance standards.
- Administer Power Platform environments (Dev/Test/Prod), enforce Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, and monitor tenant compliance, capacity, and health.
- Manage application lifecycle management (ALM) and deployment pipelines for agents and solutions across Managed Environments.
- Partner with Security and Compliance teams to package audit evidence, remediate findings, and manage platform-security escalations.
- Build and maintain analytics dashboards to track adoption, usage, and compliance across Copilot and Power Platform.
- Support and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Power Platform services, focusing on agent lifecycle, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Develop enablement materials and partner with change-management teams to accelerate secure, responsible AI adoption across the enterprise.
Other Responsibilities:
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications
- 4–7 years of experience in Microsoft 365 engineering with hands-on Power Platform administration.
- Hands-on experience operating Copilot Studio to governance standards and managing ALM in Managed Environments.
- Experience implementing security-aligned governance (sensitivity labels, DLP, auditing) and compliance frameworks.
- Proven experience supporting and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Power Platform, including agent lifecycle management, deployment pipelines, and operational excellence.
- Proficiency with pro-code development (e.g., Power Fx, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, and/or C#) for building connectors and extensions.
- Working knowledge of SharePoint architecture, Teams integration, and Viva Suite configuration.
- Strong communication skills and a track record of partnering with business stakeholders in a large, global enterprise
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI-driven productivity and automation tools, including emerging integration options such as MCP (Model Context Protocol).
- Familiarity with enterprise governance frameworks and security best practices (e.g., Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Entra ID, Zero Trust).
- Microsoft certifications such as PL-600, PL-400, PL-200, or MS-102.
- Experience with Azure services, Dataverse, and Power Automate cloud flows.
Expected Salary Range
$104,000.00 - $208,000.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
