Finning Canada is looking for a Service Enablement Specialist to join our Service Enablement team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys improving business processes, supporting operational teams, analyzing data, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Reporting to the Service Enablement Manager, you will work closely with branch and operational leaders across Canada to support the systems, processes, and tools that help our service operations run efficiently. You will act as a subject matter expert for service-related systems, monitor key performance indicators, develop best practices, and contribute to projects that improve safety, customer experience, efficiency, and financial performance.
Job Description:
What You'll Do
- Support service operations across Canada by providing expertise on service systems, processes, and tools.
- Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate best practices, quick reference guides, and process documentation.
- Collaborate with branch and facility leaders to improve service performance and operational efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and change management activities.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of operational data and reporting.
- Assist with reporting, KPI tracking, and business analysis.
- Act as a liaison between operational teams and business stakeholders to identify and implement improvements.
- Support users of service-related applications and systems.
- Participate in projects from planning through implementation and follow-up.
- Build strong working relationships across departments while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Comfortable working independently and influencing others to achieve results.
- Experience supporting process improvement and change management initiatives.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Experience working with operational systems, reporting, and performance metrics.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees and leaders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
- Experience supporting service, maintenance, equipment, or operational environments.
- Knowledge of business systems such as ERP, workforce management, CRM, or service management applications.
- Understanding of operational processes, performance reporting, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience working with change management principles or related training is considered an asset.
