Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector has an opening for a Principal / Sr. Principal Project Management to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Triton Global Supply Chain organization. This position is located onsite in San Diego, California.

This position is seeking a highly motivated, intelligent and diligent high performer to join out organization. This position will be in fast-paced environment. We offer a 9/80* work schedule with every other Friday off, phenomenal learning opportunities, exposure to a wide variety of projects and customers, and a very friendly team environment. We are looking for self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented people to help us grow our services and become even better at what we do.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assess product issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives

  • Communicate priorities for sub-tier supplier efforts and material purchasing, ensuring the manufacturing line has all necessary parts and materials in support of production.

  • Must possess excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

  • Support functional and program leadership briefings

  • Manage program metrics and data collection efforts in order to identify trends and compose reports on the organization’s performance to higher levels of the Global Supply Chain organization and the Triton Program Office.

Principal Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience with Bachelors; 3 Years with Masters.

  • Must have experience using SAP or MRP systems.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite with advanced skills in MS Excel.

  • Your ability to obtain and/or transfer and maintain the final adjudicated U.S. Government Secret Clearance and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.

Sr. Principal Basic Qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience with Bachelors; 6 Years with Masters.

  • Must have experience using SAP or MRP systems.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite with advanced skills in MS Excel.

  • Your ability to obtain and/or transfer and maintain the final adjudicated U.S. Government Secret Clearance and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.

  • Experience in Global Supply Chain, Cost Management or Business Management.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics or a business related discipline.

  • SharePoint workflow or other collaboration site design/development.

  • Experience with data evaluation tools within MS Excel and experience programming in Visual Basic in MS Excel

  • Ability to create Tableau desktops with data feeds from multiple different sources

  • Experience working in Global Supply Chain organization.

  • Project/Program Management Certifications.

Primary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $117,500.00 - $176,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
