Job Description:

• Manage parts procurement and allocation for the D17/D18 service teams, ensuring timely support for field operations.
• Provide shop parts coverage and maintain inventory availability to support ongoing service activities.
• Collaborate across departments and teams to ensure efficient parts distribution, communication, and workflow execution.
• Backorder Management, Parts ticketing escalations with CAT, Used Parts Sourcing
• Exceptional customer service and collaboration with all facets of client’s organization
• First point of contact for the customer to inquire on piece parts orders
• Coordinate with Field Technicians and Response Supervisors to identify, source, and order parts required for service and repair work orders.

Qualifications:

• Journeyperson parts certification coupled with previous parts, warehouse, front counter, sales experience and Caterpillar product knowledge
• A high performance, positive attitude and the ability to build and maintain respectful working relationships; ability to deal with difficult situations and potentially unhappy customers
• Clearly demonstrate enthusiasm about their work and must be able to function effectively and purposefully in a dynamic environment
• Capable of working with minimal supervision
• Computer literacy with applicable software knowledge along with shop parts experience
• Experience with SIS, AIMS, Antares, SIMSi, InfoCast, Lawson M3, Landmark Smart Office, M3 Sales Automation
• Industry experience in the following areas would be considered strong assets to a successful candidacy: mining, heavy construction and technology products.

Important Details:

• This position is based in Edmonton, AB at our D17/D18 Facility on a 5x2 shift. (Monday-Friday)
• Hours and shift schedule may be subject to change to meet customer and/or Finning (Canada) requirements. Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement
