Utilities Planning Facilities Specialist
The Opportunity:
As a facilities professional, you understand that proactive coordination, careful analysis, and attention to detail are critical when supporting installation utilities planning. We need an experienced facilities specialist who can apply analytical skill, facility management knowledge, and strong communication to support utility system planning and coordination efforts for the Marine Corps.
On our team, you’ll conduct utilities planning analysis, validate field conditions, assess utility system data, and provide structured inputs that support government decision‑making. You will assist with documenting current utility system performance, coordinating planning inputs with Public Works and engineering teams, and supporting technical reviews to ensure utilities planning aligns with installation requirements and long‑term mission needs.
Working closely with installation stakeholders, you’ll help identify discrepancies, support planning‑level scoping, and provide utilities‑related recommendations that strengthen infrastructure reliability. Your ability to synthesize complex field conditions and planning requirements will help ensure utilities planning remains technically sound and mission‑aligned.

You Have:
Experience assisting with field condition validation, utilities data review, or planning documentation
Knowledge of facility utilities systems, utility planning workflows, or infrastructure lifecycle concepts
Ability to coordinate with stakeholders such as Public Works or engineering teams to support planning inputs
Ability to use facilities management or tracking tools such as Excel dashboards or SharePoint
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience supporting facilities management, utilities systems planning, infrastructure coordination, or installation operations, or Master’s degree and 2+ years of experience supporting facilities management, utilities systems planning, infrastructure coordination, or installation operations
Nice If You Have:
Experience supporting MCICOM, MCIPAC, NAVFAC, or other DoD utility management or facilities organizations
Experience developing utilities planning assessments, gap analyses, or installation utilities documentation
Experience supporting data analysis, dashboard development, or planning‑related quality reviews
Knowledge of utilities systems performance evaluation, facility condition assessment workflows, or utilities master planning
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, facilities management, construction management, or a related field preferred; Master’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Architecture, or a related field a plus
Facilities or Project Management Certifications such as CFM or PMP Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
