Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Tool Crib Attendant Level 1/2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Iuka, MS. Shift is for Friday, Sat & Sun from 7:00am to 7:30pm

The Tool Crib Attendant will receive, store, and issue tools, machine tool fixtures, dies, and measuring devices. Maintains records of tools issued to employees; takes periodic inventory and requisitions stock as needed; reports damaged, worn out, or missing equipment using computers to enter transactions, validate information and maintain database. Cleans, oils, and performs minor repairs on equipment; disposes of surplus or obsolete equipment in accordance with established procedure. Ensures that measuring devices are periodically calibrated. The ideal candidate is: 

  • Detail oriented, teamwork oriented, and have a strong work ethic.

  • Able to learn and follow established processes, procedures, and requirements  

  • Experienced with data entry, and using digital scanners for tool control or inventory accountability. 

  • Experienced in maintaining records and providing traceability of materials. 

Basic Qualifications: 

Tool Crib Attendant Level 1:

  • Minimum of High School Diploma/GED and 0 year experience in a tool crib, maintenance/manufacturing environment, or inventory control role. 

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.  

  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds, and be able to work standing up for extended periods of time 

  • Ability to use/hold/manipulate small tools and parts with hands. Simple grasping, power grasping and fine manipulation is required. 

  • Ability to use vibrating tools and perform torqueing operations to include hand tools & power equipment and climb ladders or stairs. 

  • Must possess a valid state issued driver’s license. 

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance per company and business needs 

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Special Program Access (PAR)per company and business needs 

 

Tool Crib Attendant Level 2:

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience working in a tool crib and/or production related environment. 

  • Experience and comfortability with using forklifts. 

  • Knowledge of SAP, CribMaster and/or similar tool control software systems. 

  • Knowledge of calibrated tools and processes. 

Primary Level Salary Range: $32,500.00 - $54,100.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $38,600.00 - $64,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
