The full scope of Flight Attendant responsibilities in support of RTX-owned or leased aircraft include in-flight safety, security, passenger service and aircraft readiness. This is both a flying and ground-based operational position. When not assigned to a flight, the incumbent remains responsible for assigned administrative, financial, inventory, stockroom, planning and departmental duties that support safe, efficient and cost-effective flight operations.
What You Will Do
Flight Safety, Readiness and Passenger Service
Perform Flight Attendant duties aboard RTX-owned or leased aircraft, supporting the safe and secure transportation of RTX personnel, customers and authorized guests. Maintain situational awareness and exercise sound judgment in all in-flight and on the ground decisions.
Execute all assigned duties in accordance with applicable FAA and ICAO requirements, RTX Flight policies and procedures, standard operating procedures, and current IS-BAO requirements.
Ensure all activities comply with all appropriate RTX, EH&S, and Ethics policies and guidelines.
Prepare the cabin, galley, emergency equipment and passenger-service supplies for each trip. Confirm aircraft readiness, conduct required safety checks, monthly 5S’s and coordinate with flight crew members and ground personnel to ensure trip readiness.
Apply Crew Resource Management principles and use all available resources, including checklists, aircraft systems information, other crew members and operational support personnel.
Maintain current knowledge of aircraft systems, emergency procedures, flight procedures, passenger-service standards and applicable regulations.
Anticipate passenger requirements and deliver discreet, personalized and professional service while keeping all requests within the parameters of flight safety and company policy.
Coordinate and evaluate catering, food, materials and services provided by local, domestic and international vendors to ensure appropriate quality, reliability and reasonable cost.
Ground-Based, Administrative and Ancillary Responsibilities
Participate in the organization, operation and ongoing processes of the Passenger Services Duties, such as, but not limited to stockroom, including receiving, stocking, labeling, rotating and safeguarding supplies; maintaining cleanliness and order; monitoring par levels and expiration dates; and reporting shortages, waste or discrepancies.
Support inventory control and cost-management processes by maintaining accurate records, identifying opportunities to reduce waste, following approved purchasing and replenishment practices, and using company resources responsibly.
Prepare, reconcile and submit expense reports, receipts and all required supporting documentation accurately and by established deadlines. Promptly resolve missing information, returned submissions or discrepancies.
Plan and execute trip-related purchases, catering, supplies and services within approved budgets and spending guidelines. Obtain required approvals, use preferred vendors.
Complete assigned departmental projects and recurring administrative duties, which may include passenger-profile documentation, city profile documentation, vendor coordination, supply and equipment research, aircraft provisioning standards, records management, process improvement, safety reporting, training support and office or facility organization.
Maintain availability and productivity during scheduled non-flying work periods, attend required meetings and training, monitor and respond to department communications, and provide timely status updates on assigned work.
Share responsibility for department-wide operational readiness. Partner with colleagues, accept equitable assignments, take ownership of tasks and follow through on commitments without requiring repeated direction.
Travel & Availability
Must be able and willing to travel worldwide without restriction based on business and passenger requirements, including travel throughout the Middle East and other international destinations as necessary.
Must maintain the flexibility and availability required for changing schedules, extended trips, weekends, holidays, irregular hours and short-notice assignments, consistent with department scheduling practices and applicable requirements.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
Prior business aviation experience as a Flight Attendant.
Valid certificate of training from an approved cabin safety training provider, such as FACTS/Aircare International or FlightSafety International, including training in the management of in-flight illness and injury, CPR and the use of an automated external defibrillator.
Demonstrated culinary, food-safety, presentation and executive-service experience.
Must maintain a primary residence within one hour's driving distance of the assigned RTX Flight Department base.

Must be flexible, enjoy travel and maintain a calm, positive and professional demeanor under stress.
Demonstrated ability to manage administrative assignments, inventory, receipts, expense reports and deadlines with accuracy and limited supervision.
Ability to exercise cost-conscious judgment, follow approved budgets and purchasing processes, and maintain accurate financial and operational records.
Strong organizational, prioritization and technology skills, including the ability to manage multiple trip-related and ground-based responsibilities concurrently.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
