What You Will Do :

TF33 Engine Design & System Integration (EDSI) has an opening for a motivated, self-starting, Senior Manager, Systems Engineering in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The TF33 EDSI Depot Manager will be the focal for all TF33 Depot Support activities for the Oklahoma City site. They will lead a small group of Depot Support Engineers and will report directly to the TF33 Chief Systems Engineer located in East Hartford, Connecticut.  The candidate will coordinate and be the primary interface with ELMT (Engine Life Management Team), PW FSRs (Field Service Reps) and MCS&S (Military Customer Support & Service), USAF engineering organizations, and USAF depot operations personnel at Tinker AFB.

  • Provide a supervisory role for the TF33 EDSI depot engineering team and provide guidance to the TF33 ELMT team members located in OKC.
  • Lead and participate in CORE initiatives that support continuous process improvement
  • Technical support for TF33 engine hardware in conjunction with MCS&S and FSRs
  • Lead and participate in depot investigations for engines hardware issues to identify root cause of anomalies and identify improvements in collaboration with ELMT (MRO-E) and CIPT Engineering.
  • Lead the EDSI Depot team and ensure a timely response is provided to numerous technical questions to ensure uninterrupted daily engine maintenance operations
  • Create and present major issues and propose corrective action solutions to internal management team and external customers in various communications meetings (e.g., IPMT, ISMT, SIPT, ELMT)
  • Development and creation of standard work for various processes/procedures as required


Qualifications You Must Have :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math with a minimum of 10 years of experience working in the aerospace industry, or an advanced degree and 7 years of prior relevant experience
  • Common Access Card (CAC) for the ability to access Tinker AFB and access DoW computer systems.
  • 10% Travel

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
