What You Will Do *
Lead and manage Material Enablement activities to ensure timely and effective material readiness in support of production requirements.
Manage the coordination of Material Enablement engagement across key functions, including Production Planning, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Program Management, and other stakeholders, and remove material-related barriers as they arise.
Monitor material availability, shortages, constraints, and risks that may impact production schedules, and communicate appropriate actions and recovery plans.
Track and report Material Enablement performance metrics, including material readiness, shortage resolution, inventory availability, and on-time material support, while driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Summarize and present material availability, shortage, and risk information to site leadership to support effective decision-making and production continuity.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to material planning, inventory management, material readiness, and supply chain processes.
Mentor, guide, and develop Material Enablement team members while setting performance goals aligned with organizational objectives.

Qualifications You Must Have *
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in material planning, supply chain, inventory management, production planning, or a related manufacturing function.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret material and inventory data.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage priorities, resolve issues, and drive actions to completion.
Experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating team members.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis or enterprise resource planning tools.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience in aerospace or aviation manufacturing.
Experience with SAP or other ERP/MRP systems.
Knowledge of material requirements planning, inventory optimization, shortage management, and production scheduling.
Experience with S&OE, material readiness, E&O management, or supply chain performance metrics.
Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and process standardization.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive organizational objectives.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling,prioritizing, coaching and process execution.
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience with specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices.
Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited bylocal laws/regulations.
