We are seeking a Staff Systems Engineer (Program Management & Digital Solution Integration Engineer) to help shape, deploy, and drive adoption of CIDO program management tools. These tools include Planisware - WorkforceOne, the Enterprise Resource Management solution, Planisware-XDRL, a CDRL/SDRL tracking tool, TRIO, a risk management tool, O2B, an on-boarding and off-boarding management system for employees and IPRS, Intranet Program Reporting System.
This role is hands-on, and collaborative, requiring a blend of analytical, technical, and change management experience to provide input to solution design and configuration, and to ensure smooth, enterprise‑wide launches and sustained adoption.
The selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time at our NG Space Systems sector site located in Huntsville, AL.
Note- Candidates will be required to interview in-person at our Huntsville, AL site without travel reimbursement- local candidates are preferred.
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Solution Design & Development Support: Provide input to the design, configuration, and evolution of WorkforceOne, Planisware-XDRL, TRIO, O2B, and IPRS to ensure solutions meet program and customer needs and integrate effectively with existing processes and data sources.
- Support Stakeholder Communication: Assist senior leads in preparing briefing decks, ROI analyses, and change management messaging for executives and their teams across the PM tool suite.
- Deployment Planning: Contribute to the development of phased rollout roadmaps for all PM tols. Track progress against plan, report status, and recommend adjustments as needed.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with Engineering, Manufacturing and Operations, Business Development, Capture, Business Management, HR and other stakeholders to plan and execute deployments and integrations across the tools.
- Tool Integration & Process Alignment: Help align workflows, data flows, and business rules across Program Management tools to support seamless end‑to‑end program management processes.
- Change Management & Training: Deliver “train‑the‑trainer” sessions and hands‑on workshops, tailoring content for each tool and audience.
- Adoption Support: Provide clear, helpful support to users adopting the new platforms, including troubleshooting, answering how‑to questions, and gathering feedback to improve usability and adoption.
- Data Integrity: Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for WorkforceOne and the complementary PM tools, conducting data quality checks and usage reviews to ensure tools are being used correctly and data is decision‑quality.
- Continuous Improvement: Support post‑implementation reviews for each tool and for the integrated ecosystem, documenting lessons learned and suggesting improvements for future builds, releases, and process enhancements.

Note- This position will have up to 25% domestic travel to support regional rollouts and stakeholder workshops.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) related discipline with 12 years of technical experience; OR a Master’s degree in a STEM related discipline with 10 years of technical experience is required
- Must have 3 years of program or project management experience using Microsoft Project
- Candidates must have experience with one (or more) of the following: workforce planning in a matrixed organization, resource planning and forecasting, risk management, program onboarding requirements, CDRL/SDRL management or other contractual deliverables tracking, risk and opportunity management processes, On‑boarding and off‑boarding workflows for program personnel
- Candidates must have the ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Secret level security clearance as a condition of continued employment
Preferred Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in a STEM major, an MBA, and 12 years of experience in workforce integration and planning
- Experience with CAM, COBRA, staffing, workforce planning, and systems integration
- Experience delivering technology or process transformation initiatives
- Proven ability to secure sponsorship and drive alignment across senior business leaders
- Familiarity with staffing/demand-supply platforms, risk management tools, onboarding/offboarding solutions, status dashboards, and data integration concepts (e.g., WorkforceOne, CDRL/SDRL trackers, TRIO, O2B, IPRS or similar tools)
- Experience designing and executing large‑scale change management programs
- Demonstrated success in selling technology solutions or process improvements internally, turning resistance into adoption
- Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting information to diverse audiences
- Ability to learn and configure web‑based or enterprise tools (roles/permissions, basic configuration, templates, dashboards)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to: Validate data quality, Reconcile discrepancies between systems (e.g., resource tools vs. HR vs. contract deliverables lists), Produce clear, accurate reports for leadership
- Active Secret clearance

Primary Level Salary Range: $169,000.00 - $253,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
