Operating on our 9/80 schedule means you will get every other Friday off. This position has NO Hybrid or Remote work available
Candidate will contribute to the Cost volume regarding proposal strategies for Mission Processing and Communications design and testing, and creating other capture effort documentation, while planning the execution program.
Primary goal will be to develop realistic cost estimates with known GR&As and risks that meet cost targets. Needs to have breadth of Avionics Mission Processing and Communication system experience to understand scope/tasks and cost bases and estimating methods across the entire program. Needs to have the ability to work across sectors and teammates to review IWO estimates and subcontract proposals. Manages pricing, subcontracts, and other contributors to create a compliant Cost Volume. Establish guidance to BOE leads and consolidate input to ensure a consistent and compliant approach
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) discipline with 14 years of relevant experience OR Master Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) discipline with 12 years of relevant experience.
Experience managing pricing, subcontracts, and other contributors to create a compliant Cost Volume
Experience providing guidance to BOE (Basis Of Estimate ) Leads and consolidate inputs to ensure a consistent and compliant approach.
Must have an active US Government Secret Clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation) and any program access required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company
Ability to obtain and maintain US Government Top Secret clearance
Preferred Experience:
Understanding of program strategic partners and suppliers, including development, acquisition, acceptance, qualification, system integration and test support
Proven experience in proposal development and capture management, collaborating with cross-functional teams to strategize, draft, and deliver compelling proposals for government and defense contracts
