Staff AI/ML Technical Program Engineer

In this role, you will drive the execution of AI/ML initiatives across storage product development teams. You will coordinate projects from planning through deployment, align stakeholders around priorities and milestones, and help teams navigate dependencies and challenges. The position offers a blend of hands-on program leadership, technical collaboration, and executive engagement, making it a highly visible role with direct influence on product and organizational outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Drive AI/ML initiatives from requirements through deployment across product development teams
Manage project breakthroughs, deployment readiness reviews, and Go/No-Go decisions
Coordinate with multi-functional teams, resolve blockers, and manage dependencies across engineering workflows
Track portfolio progress, align initiatives with business priorities, and identify high-value AI/ML opportunities
Develop executive presentations, portfolio updates, and communications highlighting program status and outcomes
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
5+ years of experience in SSD product development, validation, firmware, semiconductor products, or related technical environments
Experience managing technical programs, project schedules, issue tracking, and multi-functional initiatives
Demonstrated ability to drive projects to deployment milestones and communicate technical status to leadership
Experience coordinating stakeholders across multiple teams, functions, and geographic regions
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Experience with AI/ML deployment workflows, agentic systems, or MCP-based architectures
Knowledge of storage systems, validation processes, firmware development, and product development workflows
Experience leading daily standups, handling partner concerns, and resolving complex cross-team dependencies
Experience supporting adoption of AI-assisted development tools and platforms
