A Day in the Life
The Senior Advanced Analytics Manager – Enablement and Strategy is responsible for leading the Operational Effectiveness function within the Enterprise Operations Insights organization. This leader serves as a strategic partner to Insights organization leadership, translating organizational strategy into execution through operational excellence, governance, program management, organizational transformation, and internal product leadership.Leading a team of Program Managers, this role is responsible for building the organizational capabilities, operating model, and governance necessary for the Insights organization to deliver measurable business value at scale. The position partners closely with analytics, automation, AI, technology, and leaders to improve organizational effectiveness, accelerate strategic initiatives, and drive adoption of modern ways of working leveraging analytics, automation, and AI capabilities.
This leader combines strategic thinking with operational execution, building high-performing teams, enabling enterprise transformation, and ensuring the Insights organization is enabled to consistently deliver measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Strategic Leadership & Business Operations
- Serve as a strategic advisor and operational partner to Enterprise Operations Insights leadership, helping translate strategic priorities into actionable execution plans.
- Lead annual planning, organizational goal deployment, strategic initiative execution, and business operating rhythms.
- Develop governance frameworks, executive communications, performance reporting, and leadership decision support that enable effective organizational management.
- Coordinate cross-functional execution of strategic initiatives while managing priorities, dependencies, risks, and organizational alignment.
- Provide operational insights and recommendations that improve execution, organizational performance, and business outcomes.
- Partner with senior leaders to identify emerging opportunities, remove organizational barriers, and continuously improve execution.
Organizational Effectiveness & Transformation
- Lead initiatives that improve organizational productivity, scalability, quality, stakeholder experience, and operational maturity.
- Define, implement, and continuously improve organizational operating models, governance processes, and standard work.
- Establish organizational performance metrics and health indicators to measure execution effectiveness and business impact.
- Drive business transformation through process optimization, organizational change management, and adoption of emerging technologies.
- Lead organizational readiness efforts that ensure successful implementation of new processes, technologies, and capabilities.
- Identify operational risks and improvement opportunities while partnering across functions to implement sustainable solutions.
Portfolio & Internal Product Leadership
- Own the strategy, governance, prioritization, roadmap, and lifecycle management of internal analytics, automation, AI, and enablement capabilities that the Insights organization needs to operate effectively.
- Partner with SME/Product Owners, Data and Analytics Development, Automation, and AI teams to translate business needs into scalable solutions that deliver measurable business value for the Insights organization.
- Lead business process design, stakeholder engagement, requirements definition, adoption planning, and value realization activities.
- Establish portfolio/program governance and prioritization processes that maximize organizational value and strategic alignment.
- Measure and communicate adoption, utilization, business outcomes, and realized value across internal capabilities.
- Champion innovative approaches that leverage analytics, automation, AI, and digital workers to improve organizational performance.
Organizational Enablement
- Lead organizational enablement efforts that improve adoption of new ways of working (e.g. process, systems/tools, analytics, AI, automation).
- Develop change management strategies that support successful implementation of strategic initiatives and organizational transformation.
- Build strong partnerships across functions to improve collaboration, alignment, and stakeholder engagement.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, accountability, and data-driven decision making.
- Enable Insights organization teams to maximize value from processes, systems, analytics, automation and AI capabilities through effective planning, communication, and operational support.
People Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team responsible for Enablement & Strategy operational effectiveness
- Establish clear priorities, performance expectations, and development plans that support organizational objectives.
- Mentor team members while fostering collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Build organizational capabilities and succession plans that support long-term business strategy.
- Champion modern ways of working that improve productivity, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in strategy, business operations, operational excellence, analytics, program management, business transformation, or related leadership roles.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of people leadership experience developing high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional strategic initiatives in large, matrixed organizations.
- Experience designing governance models, operating processes, organizational frameworks, or portfolio management practices.
- Exceptional executive communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment across multiple business functions.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Experience supporting analytics, AI, automation, digital transformation, or technology-enabled business initiatives.
- Master's degree (MBA or related discipline).
- Experience serving in Strategy & Operations, Chief of Staff, Business Operations, Enterprise PMO, or Operational Excellence leadership roles.
- Experience leading analytics organizations or internal business enablement functions.
- Experience with Agile delivery, product management, portfolio management, or organizational transformation.
- Familiarity with enterprise analytics platforms such as Power BI, Snowflake, Azure, or similar technologies.
- Experience implementing AI, automation, agentic AI, or digital workforce solutions within large organizations.
- Lean Six Sigma or change management certification preferred.
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California.
