Senior Project Manager
The Opportunity:
CACI is currently looking for an Senior Project Manager with Agile experience to join our DHS customer located in Northern Virginia! Join this team of industry-leading individuals supporting the best practices in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Development for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
Job Description:
Lead a team of infrastructure architects and engineers in transitioning and delivering cloud infrastructure products and services utilizing a SAFe Agile approach. The Senior Project Manager responsibilities include:
- Support the team in achieving their daily, sprint, and PI goals and deliverables.
- Implement, enforce, and continually improve SAFe Agile & Scrum practices.
- Provide mentoring and training for the team on SAFe Agile processes, methods, and practices
- Serve as a liaison to the CACI and Government leadership teams.
- Proactively find opportunities to use process improvement and re-engineering methodologies to facilitate improvements to team processes
- Coaching, leading, facilitating meetings.
- Holding the team accountable & being accountable for the SAFe Agile process and the delivered products and services.
- Facilitate positive team dynamics to help maximize team performance
- Identify and remove road blocks to help focus the team on deliverables
- Experience in managing SME’s and Architects with minimal supervision
- Lead, direct, and review the team’s work.
- Assist team on policy, process, implementation of strategic initiatives, and execution of day-to-day deliverables.
Requirements:
- Ability to attain DHS EOD
- BS + 10 years of applicable experience, AA + 12 years of applicable experience, or 16 years of experience
- Advanced Experience using Jira & Confluence.
- Experience participating in a high-performing, highly engaged SCRUM team
- Solid experience in incremental projects of varying workstreams using a SAFe Agile approach (e.g., infrastructure, migrations, ITSM, etc.)
- Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of elements of the SDLC and SELC
Desired:
- SAFe certified Scrum Master
- PMP certifications
- Experience leading Agile teams
- Experience with various Project Management methodologies
- Experience supporting modernization, cloud, and infrastructure initiatives
- Ability to apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of innovative products and services.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.
The proposed salary range for this position is:
