We are seeking a strategic, forward‑thinking, and employee‑centric HR leader to join our HR team supporting our Wilson, NC manufacturing facility. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, promoting positive employee relations, and supporting organizational effectiveness. You will influence business outcomes through strong HR partnership, coaching, and delivery of key people initiatives aimed at building high‑performing, engaged, and resilient teams.
This is a hybrid role with a bias towards strong onsite presence.
What You Will Do
Employee Relations & Engagement:
Promote positive employee relations and support RTX’s People Strategy
Drive engagement initiatives; analyze tools and data to proactively identify and mitigate engagement risks
Provide HR policy interpretation and ensure consistent and fair application
Address and resolve complex interpersonal and workplace situations
Conduct objective workplace investigations and drive appropriate resolution
HR Partnership & Leader Coaching:
Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders, helping them develop high‑performing teams
Coach leaders on performance management, team dynamics, conflict resolution, and talent development
Provide guidance on reporting lines, spans of control, role clarity, and organizational alignment
Change Leadership & Critical Initiatives:
Collaborate with stakeholders on organizational effectiveness, culture initiatives, and adoption of key change programs
Partner with COEs and functional teams to deliver consistent, best‑in‑class HR solutions
Travel:
Minimal - up to 10% domestic
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
Experience as an HR Generalist, HR Employee Relations Partner, or HR Business Partner
Qualifications We Prefer
Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field.
5+ years of HR experience supporting leaders and teams in a manufacturing environment
Experience driving leader and employee utilization of HR self-service tools and leveraging HR Centers of Expertise to deliver the HR Model
Experience managing multiple and often conflicting priorities with resilience and agility
Ability to influence without formal authority and build trust with senior leaders

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
