The Global Mobility function is responsible for the management of the globally mobile workforce including international assignments and transfers, as well as the compliance strategy for hybrid and remote workers. The Global Mobility senior manager position will, in coordination with RTX functions like HR, tax, legal, shared services, payroll and finance, be responsible for the development and execution of global strategic initiatives involving a mobile workforce as well as management of our International Assignee population, execution of key processes and policies, implementation of strong controls, compliance and governance.
What You Will Do
- Drive Global Mobility COE strategy, programs and policies related to Global Mobility systems/key processes.
- Govern the Individual tax compliance and equalization policy
- Design and manage the tax vendor strategy
- Work with Payroll, Corporate Tax, HR, global mobility operations, and tax vendor to develop and standardize RTX tax processes such as tax authorization.
- Responsible for management and governance of a global employment company
- Innovate process and data visualization in our mobility technology
- Manage and resolve complex employee and business escalations across the assignment lifecycle
- Keep up to date with mobility innovation and policy trends and seek opportunities to apply them.
- Develop training and communications for Global Mobility stakeholders.
- Define requirements, develop, and manage governance reports as needed.
- Communicate with many parties and functions (such as HR, legal, tax, finance, and payroll) to help cross functional teams align on new concepts, practices, and approaches in the mobility function
- Responsible for improving upon existing mobility processes and systems using conceptualizing, reasoning and interpretation. This role will create solutions that use RTX resources, support business needs, and integrate industry best practice.
- Assist in development, harmonization and implementation of processes to support and improve global mobility service delivery model that drives transparency with vendors, Global Mobility operations group, and Enterprise Financial Services.
- Travel required up to 10%
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
- Strong communicator with proven relationship skills and the ability to work with employees at all levels
- Proven excellent organization, planning and decision-making skills are essential, as well as the ability to balance the needs of the business and employees while meeting the requirements of the laws and regulations
- Strong project management skills to drive complex projects to close
- Understanding and experience with global mobility operations
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems by identifying root cause, designing solutions and executing the outcome
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have initiative to solve problems.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
