Raytheon has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Acquisition Professional who will be responsible for leading the overall procurement activities associated with the Energetics & Propulsion Commodity team, which manages the following technologies: Warheads and Pyros. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic growth-oriented environment that supports a broad portfolio of programs across multiple Mission Areas and reports to the Procurement Manager.
What You Will Do:
- Perform procurement actions utilizing integrated supply chain models in compliance with all FAR/DFARS regulatory and corporate requirements. Primary capabilities in procurement such as the following will be needed:
- Preparation of all manners of solicitations including RFQs, RFPs, and RF
- Place Purchase Orders of high dollar levels and procurement complexity
- Perform risk analysis and develop mitigation plans and solutions to problems
- Develop negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations (Price, Delivery, Terms)
- Analyze quotations/proposals utilizing price/cost analysis techniques
- Manage Supplier Relationship, Development, and Performance
- Communicate clearly and be proactive in a very fast-paced environment.
- Be flexible, innovative, work with speed and agility yet be thorough and compliant with government and Raytheon regulations, while successfully driving tasks to completion.
- Monitor procurement reports and help drive performance to meet company metric targets.
- Ability to travel as required
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ procurement experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with DoD procurement/subcontract compliance with Public Laws, Policies, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR), ITAR OR import/export requirements.
- Experience in written contractual authorization/vehicles (Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus, T&M, etc.).
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance or STEM field
- Knowledge of compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)
- Experience in written contractual authorization/vehicles (Cost Plus, Firm Fixed Price etc.)
- Experience analyzing Cost and Pricing Data and determining proposal compliance (FAR 15.4)
- Experience with technical requirements of procured hardware and services including Statement of Work (SOW) review

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.
The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $106,000. The salary range is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role, function, and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training and key skills.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
