The Opportunity
 

Our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow, to keeping adult bodies strong and active. Millions of people around the world count on our leading brands – including Similac®, PediaSure®, Pedialyte®, Ensure®, and Glucerna® – to help get the nutrients they need to live their healthiest life. 

What You’ll Work On:

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for full financial planning and analysis in support of the Glucerna® brand

  • Collaborate with Commercial (Marketing) to build monthly and annual sales and expense forecast, converting into full P&L for quarterly LBE deliverables

  • Prepare schedules for Corporate submissions and forecast review meetings. Produce a meaningful and accurate forecast

  • Communicate forecast assumptions and analysis to Finance leadership and Glucerna® brand partners

  • Report and analyze monthly close results, communicating variances to leadership

  • Provide financial support, recommendations and insight to brand partners and the Finance organization as it relates to all brand opportunities and assessments

  • Utilize critical thinking skills to assess reasonableness and relevance of financial assumptions by highlighting risks and opportunities associated with financial forecasts

  • The Sr. Financial Analyst must be able to understand and apply financial concepts, facilitate interpretation and understanding of data, identify risks and opportunities and propose sound recommendations to finance and business leadership

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance

  • Minimum 2 or more years of applicable experience in diversified finance/accounting roles

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving skills and oral/written communication skills, as well as an ability to effectively manage workload to Glucerna deadlines are met

  • Proven critical thinking skills to identify and share business implications of financial results

  • Demonstrate the ability to lead cross-functional projects and complete assignments, interacting with multiple functions

  • Excellent communication skills are essential, as this role interacts with multiple levels within the organization

  • Self-starter and highly motivated; ability to manage multiple priorities which can shift regularly

  • Strong PC/system skills, experience with Excel and PowerPoint


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 or more years of SAP and/or PowerBI experience or knowledge

  • MBA

  • Experience in commercial finance environment(s)

The base pay for this position is

$78,000.00 – $156,000.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
