Compensation Range:

$18.00 - $25.14

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities:

The CIFASD Research Assistant at Mt. hope Family Center will assist with the CIFASD research projects. The FASD Continuum of Care Projects are part of the Collaborative Initiative on FASD (CIFASD).

The Research Assistant role entails: (a) assisting the project coordinator with recruitment, (b) tracking and scheduling completion of online research batteries with participants, (c) supporting engagement of community advisory boards, (d) contributing to refinements to interventions as part of the multidisciplinary development team, (e) coding and managing data. The position requires experience conducting research with families from diverse backgrounds.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Scheduling and tracking completion of surveys, interviews, and other online research batteries with participants.
  • Assist with recruitment of participants for the study
  • Process, enter, and code qualitative and quantitative data
  • Contact participants and advisory board members to schedule meetings; maintain good relations with participants and board members to address any questions or concerns.
  • Other duties as assigned


MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years of relevant experience required
  • Associate's degree preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1-2 years of research experience working with human subjects or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; strong attention to detail; comfortable interacting with people of diverse backgrounds, including individuals with trauma histories and mental illness; flexibility to work weekends and evenings; preferred.
