Responsibilities:
Receives visitors, patients and/or staff members and answers telephones. Provides direction and assistance requiring working knowledge of departmental organization and procedures. Performs clerical duties incidental to the receptionist function.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

TAR: no standard hours, only as needed; weekdays and Saturdays possible
POSITION SUMMARY
This is an exciting opportunity to work in the URM Fitness Center, exclusively for UR staff and students. This position will work with existing and potential members. Candidate should possess strong customer service skills. Center membership included.
TYPICAL DUTIES
- Receives and greets members and customers.
- Promotes the Fitness Center, as well as provide tours and information to potential and new members.
- Work with current members that have questions or problems.
- Enroll new members and process payments for membership or merchandise.
- Ensures the safety and wellbeing of members.
- Monitors the Center for any issues and troubleshoots these as they arise.
- Cleans as needed and maintains organization of equipment.
- Possibly close facility, including all tasks associated with this.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma and 2 years of related work experience required
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Customer service skills and computer knowledge preferred.
