The Opportunity:

Immediate need for Law Clerk I for ongoing document review projects assisting large scale healthcare fraud investigations in support of CACI's contract with the DOJ, EOUSA.

The Law Clerk position is a great opportunity for recent law school graduates seeking to gain practical, hands-on experience applying your knowledge to assist with high profile cases being investigated and litigated by the Department of Justice.  This opportunity will also enhance your knowledge and understanding of the litigation life cycle as you assist with investigations from discovery through trial and appeal.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists attorneys with all phases of litigation. 

  • Reviews and analyzes large volumes of electronic documents to determine responsiveness, confidentiality, and privilege. 

  • Is able to meet daily review deadlines and productivity expectations.

  • Prepares various legal documents for the attorneys including subpoenas, discovery letters, and logs.

  • Prepares trial exhibit and witness lists. 

  • Prepares witnesses and witness binders for depositions and trial.

  • Prior document review experience preferred but not required. 

  • Familiarity with eDiscovery platforms like Relativity preferred but not required. 

  • Communicate key issues and notable documents with team

Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Law Degree

  • Sound working knowledge of federal and state court systems, legal research procedures, and legal research resources (including Westlaw and Lexis)

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOJ MBI clearance

Pay Range:

This posting is for a position covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The pay and benefits provided for this position will meet or exceed the minimum required amounts detailed in the wage determination issued by the Department of Labor and made applicable to this position, as incorporated into CACI’s government contract for the work location.​
 

Minimum Required Hourly Wage:

$34.66
