Program Security Officer (PSO)
Leidos is seeking an experienced Program Security Officer (PSO) to provide security support for a dynamic, fast-paced U.S. Government organization.
To be considered for this position, candidates must have prior SCIF, ASO, PSO, and overseas/OCONUS security experience and be willing and able to travel at least 50% of the time. Additionally, to be considered, candidates must possess a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph. Candidates who do not possess this level of clearance will not be considered.
The PSO must possess and have successfully demonstrated technical security competence, problem-solving skills, and the interpersonal skills necessary to determine and implement effective security policy for the protection of classified efforts.
The duties of the PSO include, but are not limited to:
Apply knowledge of multiple security disciplines, including physical security, personnel security, information systems security, and industrial security, to develop and implement comprehensive security plans and measures designed to mitigate risk and protect sensitive information and assets.
Conduct security assessments at potential domestic and international work locations.
Plan, coordinate, and manage security support for classified activities, with a thorough understanding of ICD 705, NISPOM, and Department of State and Department of Defense force protection standards.
Assist with the development, review, coordination, and execution of critical program security documentation.
Monitor, report, and track corrective actions resulting from compliance reviews and ensure timely notification of pertinent security matters to program technical and management staff.
Support domestic locations when not working abroad, including training new security staff on applicable security protocols and procedures.
Travel Requirement
This position requires a minimum of 50% travel, including OCONUS/international travel, to support the establishment and ongoing management of operational security requirements as business needs dictate. Candidates must have previous overseas/OCONUS travel and security experience and be comfortable supporting operations in international and remote field locations.
Basic Qualifications
Prior experience performing Program Security Officer (PSO) responsibilities.
Prior SCIF security experience.
Prior ASO experience.
Demonstrated overseas/OCONUS security experience, including experience working in international or remote field locations.
Previous OCONUS travel experience and willingness and ability to travel a minimum of 50% of the time.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, including government officials and contract personnel, to implement security policies.
Bachelor's degree and approximately 8–12 years of related experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Current/active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required. Candidates who do not currently possess this level of clearance will not be considered.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $82,550.00 - $149,225.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
