Facility Security Officer, Senior
The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an experienced Facility Security Officer (FSO) to support logistics operations across the Indo-Pacific. The Facility Security Officer serves as CACI's senior security professional, responsible for administering, implementing, and overseeing the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and facility security operations that support classified Government programs. Reporting directly to the Program Manager, this position provides leadership for personnel, physical, industrial, and information security activities, and ensures compliance with applicable Federal regulations, customer requirements, and corporate security policies.
The Facility Security Officer works closely with Government security officials, program leadership, site managers, corporate security, and subcontractors to safeguard personnel, facilities, classified information, and Government assets. This position supports secure mission execution by maintaining accreditation requirements, managing security processes, and ensuring operational readiness across multiple locations.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the Facility Security Officer (FSO) assigned to Government facilities and programs.
Administer the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) in accordance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM).
Manage personnel security actions, including clearance processing, visit requests, and access authorizations.
Oversee physical security programs supporting classified facilities and controlled areas.
Ensure compliance with Government security regulations, contractual requirements, and company policies.
Coordinate security inspections, self-assessments, and Government audits.
Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for security operations.
Conduct security education, awareness, and annual refresher training for program personnel.
Investigate and report security incidents, violations, and corrective actions.
Coordinate classified meetings, visitor control, foreign travel, and facility access requirements.
Maintain accountability for classified material and secure storage procedures.
Support secure facility operations, including SCIF administration and accreditation activities.
Serve as the primary security interface with Government customers and corporate security organizations.
Maintain security documentation, records, and required reporting within Government security systems.
Promote continuous improvement of security processes while supporting mission execution and operational readiness.
Qualifications:
Required:
Minimum 8 years of experience supporting industrial security, personnel security, physical security, information security, or Government security programs.
Experience serving as a Facility Security Officer (FSO) supporting classified Government contracts.
Experience administering the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and compliance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM).
Demonstrated ability to coordinate with Government security representatives and brief senior leadership on security matters.
Desired:
Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Security Management, Information Security, Business Administration, Homeland Security, or a related field.
Possession of an FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities (FSO-P) Certification or completion of DCSA FSO training requirements.
Experience supporting Special Operations, Combatant Commands, or Department of Defense organizations in classified environments.
Professional certifications such as ISP®, CPP®, Security+, CISSP, or equivalent security credentials are preferred.
