Summary of Role
GlobalFoundries has a 2027 New College Graduate opportunity for a Production Control Analyst. The role supports production planning, capacity analysis, manufacturing performance reporting, and data-driven decision making in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will leverage data analytics and cross-functional collaboration to improve operational efficiency, delivery performance, and factory execution.
Essential Responsibilities
- Work with the Production Control team to support production planning, capacity management, and manufacturing execution initiatives.
- Analyze production, cycle time, and delivery performance data to develop insights, dashboards, and reporting solutions that support operational decision making.
- Collaborate with Customer Engineering, Integration, Planning, Manufacturing, and Line Control teams to identify trends, resolve production issues, and support factory readiness for new product introductions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis, process optimization, and performance monitoring to enhance factory efficiency and delivery performance.
Required Qualifications
- Graduating with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in: Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science or a related field from an accredited degree program.
- Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing.
- Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
- Travel - Up to 10%
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior related internship or co-op experience in analytics, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or business intelligence.
- Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, student organizations, etc.
- Strong interest in leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support effective decision-making.
- Project management skills and the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Experience with data analytics, visualization, and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or similar).
- Ability to analyze large data sets and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Knowledge of supply chain, production planning, forecasting, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and operational excellence concepts.

Expected Salary Range
$50,400.00 - $88,200.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
