Principal Technical Program Manager- AI Transformation

Description -

At HP, we build AI solutions to give people world-class high-performance compute while helping IT organizations modernize their infrastructure for a hybrid future.

As organizations rethink their reliance on cloud-only approaches, HP's expanded Advanced Compute Solutions ecosystem supports hybrid AI strategies that balance local and cloud compute. HP Z AI Stations, including ZGX Nano and ZGX Fury, deliver scalable, high-density local performance for AI inference and fine-tuning, while integrating seamlessly into managed IT environments.

HP is building for that future.

HP helped create Silicon Valley's original culture of invention, customer focus, and disciplined engineering. Today, we are bringing that heritage to the next era of AI infrastructure and AI solutions.

You will lead HP's most strategic AI programs and executive-sponsored initiatives from concept through execution, working across customers, partners, sales, product, engineering, services, and executive leadership.

This role combines program leadership, AI transformation, and technical credibility, helping HP accelerate AI adoption while driving measurable business outcomes across strategic industries and ecosystem partnerships.

Your job is to help answer the questions that will define HP's AI future:

  • How do we accelerate AI adoption across key industries and market segments?
  • What becomes possible when AI agents, enterprise knowledge, automation, and human expertise work together?
  • How do we turn emerging AI technologies into repeatable and scalable business outcomes?
  • How can HP help customers move from AI pilots to enterprise-wide transformation?
  • How can HP become a leading example of effective enterprise AI adoption?

This is a high-impact role for a leader who can operate at the intersection of AI technology, strategic programs, customer engagement, ecosystem partnerships, and business transformation.

  • Establish repeatable operating models and best practices for future AI initiatives and transformation programs.

Program Leadership (50%)

  • Serve as the primary program leader for complex, cross functional initiatives involving business, engineering, customer, product and partner stakeholders.
  • Translate leadership priorities into executable plans, workstreams, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
  • Drive alignment across multiple organizations while proactively identifying risks, removing blockers, and accelerating execution.
  • Develop executive communications, status updates, recommendations, and decision frameworks for senior leadership.
  • Represent HP in strategic customer, partner, analyst and industry engagement related to AI transformation.

What We’re Looking For

  • Significant hands-on experience designing, building, and scaling AI, machine learning, and generative AI solutions in enterprise environments, with proficiency in Python, modern AI frameworks, LLMs, RAG architectures, AI agents, and cloud-native AI platforms.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems in ambiguous environments.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills.
  • Ability to influence across engineering, product, sales, marketing, services, partner, and leadership organizations.
  • Demonstrated curiosity about emerging technologies and business transformation.

Education & Experience Required

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and executive-level experience.
