Collins Aerospace is seeking a passionate and experienced Product Manager to lead the lifecycle management and performance of the Integral Valve Nozzles product family. In this critical role, you will drive the product roadmap, oversee development through production, and chair the Integrated Project Team (IPT) to ensure cost, schedule, and delivery commitments are achieved. Additionally, you will play a key role in managing the overall product line strategy, act as a primary customer-facing partner for quotes and development programs and serve as the communication point for delivery assurance and product line output.

What You Will Do

  • Customer Commitments: Ensure all customer commitments are met, including on-time deliveries and achieving financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). 

  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the Strategic and Financial Plan (SFP) to shape the direction and growth of the product line. 

  • Product Management: Oversee and manage changes to products within the product line or family. 

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work across CEN product lines to support existing and potential customers, ensuring alignment for products and services with moderate material impact on the enterprise. 

  • Team Leadership: Drive alignment and collaboration among cross-functional and matrixed teams to meet objectives. 

  • Performance Monitoring: Support and monitor the achievement of key financial and product performance metrics for the product line. 

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong customer relationships, foster effective communication, and act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery assurance and product satisfaction. 

  • Travel: Travel domestically and internationally up to 15-20% as required by business needs. 

Qualifications You Must Have 

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience

Qualifications We Prefer 

  • Proven experience in program, project, or product management. 

  • Background in operations and production flow management, including supply chain oversight and delivery assurance. 

  • Experience working directly with customers, including proposal preparation and customer negotiations. 

  • Familiarity with SAP. 

  • Lean (CORE) certification. 

  • Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI). 

  • Strong organizational, communication, and self-management skills. 

  • Technical knowledge or experience with integral valve nozzles.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
