As a Logistics Systems Engineer II, you’ll be an integral part of the Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) team interfacing directly with team members and stakeholders, including customers and program leaders.
In this role, you’re responsible for the development and maintenance of detailed Logistics Supportability Analysis, Provisioning data for parts, Spares Analysis and Spares Availability for hardware within a specific product line. You will work with limited supervision, applying advanced logistics principles and engineering judgment to independently develop, refine, and improve supportability and sustainment products.
Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are safe, reliable, maintainable, and delivered on time. The organization is comprised of multiple disciplines that support engineering teams, program offices, and our customers. LCE disciplines are engaged throughout the entire product life cycle—from initial concept and design through deployment, sustainment, and eventual deactivation.
What You Will Do
Independently develop and maintain supportability analyses and provisioning data, ensuring accuracy and alignment with engineering and program requirements.
Apply advanced logistics principles and analytical judgment to develop and enhance complex program-level concepts and plans with limited supervision.
Collaborate with cross‑product teams, including Chief Engineers, Program Directors, Program Managers, and customers, influencing decisions using data-driven supportability insights.
Lead or support spares analysis and spares availability modeling, identifying improvements to methods and data quality.
Work autonomously within your work area, contributing to moderately complex projects, and setting objectives for your own tasks that support broader program goals.
10% or less Domestic and/or International Travel May Be Required.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience with one or more of the following: data analysis, data collection, logistics, Engineering Documentation, Configuration Management (CM), or Product Data Management (PDM).
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with various areas of the Technical Data Package (drawings, parts lists, and electrical schematics) and experience generating/interpreting Parts List, system drawings and/or logistics plans.
Spares Analysis and Spares List Development (Poisson Based Statistical Analysis, OPUS Suite, or similar analysis software experience)
Experience in performing Level of Repairability Analysis (LORA) using COMPASS and/or OPUS.
Experience in the development and maintenance of Logistics Management Information (LMI) in accordance with MIL-STD-1388-2B, GEIA-STD-0007, or MIL-PRF-49506
Experience utilizing EAGLE, POWERLOG or SLICWave tools

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
