ThePrincipal Analyst, Securitywill perform a wide variety of tasks in support of Raytheon’s consolidated enterprise Special Access Programs (SAPs) Personnel Security Center (PSC) mission.  Duties include but are not limited to: developing, reviewing, and administering SAP security policies in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment to ensure compliance with the 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), DoDM 5205.07, SEADs, and ICD-705.  Provide oversight and guidance related to security policies and procedures to ensure successful contract execution. You will be required to process assigned Pre-Screening Questionnaires (PSQs); report required information to the customer(s); update computer databases with vital security information; collect,  study, and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations as well as coordinate with government agencies to obtain rulings and interpretations for compliance with regulations; and participate in security reviews; compare procedures with actual operations, documents findings, and recommends corrective actions. Must be willing to protect employees’ personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act and other applicable Government regulations. Assume other duties as assigned.

  

What You Will Do

  • Administering security procedures (32 CFR 117, DoDM 5205.07, SEADS, and ICD 705), as they relate to operating in a classified environment for: personnel security processing, marking and control of documents / materials, security education, visitor control, destruction of classified, and physical security. 
  • Develop, prepare, and implement local Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), as it relates to current role.  
  • Provide security oversight and management to subcontractors. 
  • Provide oversight and guidance for personnel security processing in accordance with DoDM 5205.07.   
  • Conduct and/or participate in internal reviews and/or Government inspections, as assigned. 
  • Investigate security infractions/violations and prepare reports specifying the potential for loss or compromise and the associated risk to the program(s).  
  • Role may involve working extended hours, due to fast-paced, deadline-driven office environment. 
  • Ability to work extended hours, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven office environment. 
  • A valid driver’s license is required, as this position may involve escorting individuals across business locations 
  • This position may require travel on company business.  

Qualifications You Must Have

    • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
    • Experience with Microsoft Products

    Qualification We Prefer

    • 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) or government policies experience regarding international activities and protecting information 
    • Previous experience as a security professional supporting SAP and/or SCI programs.  
    • Experience with any of the following: NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 series, and/or ICD 705.  
    • Degree major in Business Management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or other related field of study.  
    • At least 6 years of National Security experience preferred.  
    • Completed related training and/or certification with DCSA and/or CDSE (ex. Introduction to SAPs, ICD-705, SFPC, SPSC, PSC, etc.)

    The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

    This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
