Photocopier Clerk

Amentum is seeking a Photocopier Clerk to support a unique US Navy program on the island of Diego Garcia. The Photocopier Clerk will be responsible for providing high quality printing, photocopying, and photographic support services for government and military operations. This position operates and maintains digital reproduction equipment, produces official photographs and printed materials, and ensures all work is completed accurately, securely, and in accordance with military standards and requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform printing, photocopying, and reproduction services for a variety of materials, including manuals, reports, flyers, brochures, blueprints, diagrams, and aerial photographs.
- Produce official government photographs, including passport photos, business cards, command and officer portraits, award photographs, command photo boards, and official biography photographs.
- Support special recognition photography for military and civilian award programs.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot photocopiers, printers, scanners, and other digital reproduction equipment.
- Configure equipment settings to accommodate various paper sizes, media types, and print specifications while ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Utilize photo editing and document layout software to create, edit, and enhance digital content for printing.
- Maintain accurate records of completed print jobs, including project timelines, materials used, and production quantities.
- Monitor inventory of paper, toner, and printing supplies and coordinate replenishment as needed.
- Ensure the secure handling, storage, and confidentiality of official government and military documents and photographs.
- Provide great customer service to military personnel, government employees, and other customers.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned that are consistent with the nature and level of the position.
Minimum RequirementsRequired Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One to three (1-3) years of experience in printing, photocopying, photography, or document reproduction services.
- Experience operating and maintaining commercial printers, photocopiers, scanners, and related equipment.
- Working knowledge of printing techniques, document layout applications, and photo editing software.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, high quality work.
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and meet established deadlines.
- Must be in possession of a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.
- Passport must be valid for a minimum of one (1) year or more at the time of hiring.
- Ability to obtain country-specific visas per the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide.
- Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain compliance throughout the duration of deployment.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
- Must read, speak, and comprehend English to the extent that they can perform the contract requirements and comply with installation emergency procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in an austere OCONUS (Outside the Continental United States) environment with a multi-national workforce
- A valid driver’s license to legally operate a motor vehicle. Valid country driver’s license. and passport.
- Knowledge of MILPERSMAN 1070-180 or other military photography standards and procedures.
- Experience with graphic design, digital imaging, or professional photography.

Working Environment
This position is located on Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territory (BIOT), a remote overseas location supporting U.S. Government operations. Employees may work in office, industrial, warehouse, port, airfield, and outdoor environments and may be exposed to high temperatures, humidity, inclement weather, noise, dust, and uneven terrain. Work schedules may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours based on operational requirements.
Physical Requirements
Requirements may include prolonged sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and working in both indoor and outdoor environments. Must be able to meet all medical, security, and deployment requirements associated with assignment to a remote overseas location.
