Performance Testing Lead
The Opportunity:
The Performance Testing Lead will oversee the planning, execution, and reporting of performance and automated testing activities across the program. This role requires strong hands-on technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to coordinate testing activities within a complex environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and execution of automated and performance testing strategies.
- Build, maintain, and optimize performance testing frameworks and automation suites.
- Develop, author, and maintain detailed test plans, test scripts, and test documentation.
- Oversee execution of performance tests, analyze results, and provide clear, actionable reporting on testing outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, DevOps, operations, and product owners, to ensure test coverage and resolve issues.
- Provide guidance and direction to Performance Testers and other QA resources.
- Ensure adherence to performance KPIs and quality standards.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent additional experience in lieu of a degree), U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Strong QA automation experience, including Selenium, automated test framework design and maintenance, and performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, k6, or similar.
- Proven analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills, with experience developing test plans, test cases, test reports, and identifying performance bottlenecks in collaboration with technical teams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team, mentor junior QA staff, and effectively communicate technical findings.
- Highly organized self-starter with the ability to quickly learn new technologies, manage multiple priorities, and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Desired:
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile software development environments.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis and unit testing.
- Experience with Momentum ERP or other ERP systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with enterprise-scale financial and/or government systems is highly desirable.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.
The proposed salary range for this position is:
