Media & Materials Partner Manager, Labels & Packaging
Description -
This is a business-focused, market-facing leadership role responsible for managing HP Indigo’s Media & Materials partner ecosystem for Labels & Packaging. The role drives market development, long-term competitiveness, and revenue-generating opportunities through strategic partner management, media and material qualification, and materials-enabled growth initiatives.
A strong technical understanding of materials, packaging applications, and HP Indigo printing technology is required in order to translate market needs into scalable, commercially relevant business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and evolve the HP Indigo Media & Materials partner strategy for the Labels & Packaging segment.
Own and manage the partner collaboration framework, ensuring alignment with HP Indigo technology, application requirements, customer needs, and regulatory standards.
Manage strategic partners, including substrate, coating, and material suppliers, as well as relevant royalty-based business model agreements.
Integrate partners into strategic business initiatives and drive cross-functional alignment with R&D, Product, Sales, Marketing, Service, Sustainability, and regional teams.
Identify and mitigate material-related business risks while enabling scalable application growth.
Support qualification, commercialization, and market adoption of partner media and material solutions.
Train and enable Category, Sales, GEC, and Solution Architect teams with pre-sale and post-sale media-related customer support.
Ensure regional teams integrate partners into go-to-market activities, demos, evaluations, and customer engagements.
Build trusted, long-term partnerships based on integrity, professionalism, transparency, and a high level of mutual trust.
Impact & Scope
Global scope across regions and business units, with a focus on the Americas.
Direct impact on revenue-generating activities, cost optimization opportunities, application performance, customer enablement, and development of future market opportunities for HP Indigo Labels & Packaging.
Supports HP Indigo’s ability to expand application coverage, strengthen partner readiness, and secure long-term market access through qualified and commercially scalable media and material solutions.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Business, Materials Science, Packaging, Industrial Technology, or equivalent experience.
10+ years of experience in materials, packaging, partner ecosystems, industrial technology, or related B2B business environments.
Experience working with external partners, suppliers, or technology ecosystems is preferred.
Experience in Labels & Packaging applications, digital printing, substrates, coatings, or converting workflows is an advantage.

The pay range for this role is $105,050 to $161,800 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
