This Collins Aerospace Co-op will be focused around Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) and materials management working with the demand planning, master scheduling, production planning, and logistics on continuous improvement events and developmental monthly job duties. The job creates a great opportunity to learn about Collins' products, SIOP processes and the fundamentals of planning a factory to ultimately achieve sales, inventory, cash flow, and customer on-time-delivery expectations. You will get to work with all facets of the Enterprise; manufacturing, quality, sales, program leadership, material & supply. This is a great opportunity to not only sharpen your skill sets around product knowledge & planning, but also to build strong networks across the Enterprise!
What you will do:
Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run January-August (including the Spring semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).
Receive high-caliber training, mentoring, and guidance from your manager and team while building a Collins network
Network with other interns/coops at the Cedar Rapids location
Shadow other functions at the site
Work with SIOP and materials managment team on participation in and execution of items from Lean events
Collaborate with transportation team on cost savings opportunities
Team up with SIOP and materials management peers on Standard Work and knowledge transfer documentation
Assist with transportation and inventory data analytics
Qualifications You Must Have:
Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
Experience with SQL Programming and/or Power BI.
Experience using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
