Role Overview
The Manager, Retail Intelligence, Media & Discoverability leads the development of data-driven retail marketing capabilities that help shoppers discover, evaluate and choose HP products across retailer ecosystems. This role combines retailer and shopper intelligence, AI-powered discoverability, retail media and digital innovation to identify growth opportunities and improve marketing performance across North America's largest retail partners.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Intelligence & Growth
Translate retailer, shopper and performance data into actionable growth opportunities.
Develop insights and recommendations that improve retailer performance and marketing effectiveness.
Partner with Retail Growth Leads to identify account-specific opportunities and prioritize investments.
Project Discovery & AI
Lead Project Discovery and develop capabilities that improve HP's discoverability across AI platforms, retailer search and emerging digital experiences.
Drive initiatives across AI search (GEO), ratings & reviews and digital shelf optimization to increase product visibility and shopper consideration.
Identify and pilot innovative technologies that strengthen HP's retail marketing capabilities.
Retail Media Strategy
Develop retail media strategies and best practices across priority retail partners.
Partner with account teams to build data-driven retail media plans aligned to business objectives.
Measure, optimize and continuously improve retail media performance and investment effectiveness.
Innovation & Capability Development
Build scalable marketing capabilities that can be leveraged across retailers and categories.
Evaluate emerging trends, technologies and shopper behaviors to identify future growth opportunities.
Collaborate with Worldwide Marketing to bring new capabilities and innovation to North America.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Serve as the strategic partner for Retail Growth Leads by providing expertise in data, discoverability and retail media.
Partner with Media, Insights, Category, Creative and Sales teams to deliver integrated retailer growth strategies.
Lead and develop a high-performing team while fostering collaboration across the broader Consumer & Retail Marketing organization.
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in retail marketing, digital marketing, eCommerce, retail media or analytics.
Strong understanding of retailer ecosystems, shopper behavior and omnichannel marketing.
Experience leading retail media strategy, digital innovation or AI-driven marketing initiatives.
Proven ability to translate data into business recommendations and measurable outcomes.
Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
The pay range for this role is $147,050 to $230,850 USD annually with additional
opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United
States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related
knowledge, skills, and experience.
