We are seeking a skilled Technical Content and Solutions Specialist to join our Digital Asset Management (DAM) team. This role combines technical writing, structured content (DITA/XML), Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS), and Python-based development to create reusable, well-structured, and machine-consumable content assets.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on contributor who develops high-quality content and builds automation and integration solutions using Python and modern APIs. This role supports AI-enabled content ecosystems, transforming documentation into structured, discoverable, and scalable digital assets that enhance search, retrieval, and intelligent applications across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and maintain structured technical content using DITA/XML within AEM Guides.
• Translate complex information into clear, modular, and reusable content.
• Apply retrieval-aware authoring (RAA) practices to improve content discoverability and reuse.
• Work with AEM Guides and AEM Sites for content authoring, publishing, and lifecycle management.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of digital assets (versioning, publishing, archival, retirement).
• Define and maintain metadata, taxonomy, and classification frameworks.
• Optimize content and metadata for search, retrieval, and reuse across DAM systems.
• Develop Python-based automation for content processing, validation, and workflows.
• Integrate LLM/API-based services for summarization, tagging, and improved retrieval.
• Support content ingestion and migration, ensuring structure and metadata alignment.
• Ensure adherence to content governance, standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, and UX.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical writing experience with strong expertise in DITA, XML, and structured authoring (topics, maps, reuse mechanisms).
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS)
  • AEM Sites
  • Adobe Edge Delivery Services
• Proficiency in Python programming for automation and integration.
• Experience with LLM APIs or similar service-based integrations.
• Familiarity with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Content modeling and structured authoring
  • Metadata, taxonomy, and content organization
  • Content reuse and discoverability principles
• Knowledge of cloud/SaaS documentation environments.
• Basic understanding of retrieval-based concepts (e.g., RAG).

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of network engineering concepts.
• Knowledge of DITA-OT principles.
• Knowledge of Retrieval-Aware Authoring (RAA) principles.
• Familiarity with knowledge graphs, ontology, or semantic modeling.
• Understanding of metadata standards (e.g., Dublin Core, schema.org).
• Exposure to vector search, embeddings, or semantic indexing.
• Experience with REST APIs and JSON integrations.
• Experience with content quality tools (e.g., Acrolinx, Congree).
