The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Top Secret/SCI cleared team lead to join our Security Engineering team and support a DHS facility located in Stennis, MS. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience providing technical leadership, security engineering and architectural oversight, and operational support for a classified and high-side environment. This role is responsible for managing both back-end and front-end support for a wide variety of security tool stacks as well as a strong background in information security and vulnerability assessment. The lead will work closely with system owners, cybersecurity teams, network engineers, and mission stakeholders to ensure classified systems are secure, resilient, compliant, and operationally effective.


Responsibilities:

· Serve as the technical lead supporting the high-side and classified environment providing technical guidance and supporting multiple enterprise security tools to include Splunk, Corelight, Trellix ePO, CyberArk, Zsclaer, Axonius Swimlane, etc.
· Serve as a local network detection point of contact for the Stennis, MS. location providing technical guidance and supporting tool deployment, implementations, maintenance, incident response, escalation and troubleshooting.
· Coordinate with security operations centers, network operations teams, and mission stakeholders during security events or outages.
· Support development and refinement of operational playbooks, escalation procedures, and engineering response processes.
· Prepare clear technical documentation to include weekly and monthly reports, decision briefs, risk summaries, engineering recommendations, and status reports.
· Lead technical reviews of system designs, security controls, security architectures, identity and access management solutions, and boundary protections.
· Evaluate proposed technologies, tools, and integrations for compatibility with high-side security requirements and identify security risks and recommend practical mitigation strategies.
· Oversee and mentor a team of security engineers and technical staff on secure engineering best-practices. · Assist with designing, implementing, and maintaining deployments for security monitoring and threat detection
· Create and manage policies in conjunction with security standards for access control and network security and continuously identify improvements and long-term strategies
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall security posture through automation
· Stay current with emerging security technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements or additions.


Qualifications:

Required: 

· Active DHS EOD and Top Secret (TS-SCI) clearance
· ITIL V4 Foundations certification (or obtained in first 6 months)
· Masters degree + 10 years of experience
· 10 or more years of hands-on experience in enterprise IT support
· Significant experience in cybersecurity, with strong hands-on experience tool deployment and maintenance.

· Experience leading security engineering and security architecture activities for classified, high-side, or similarly sensitive enterprise environments

· Experience with secure system architecture, network security, endpoint hardening, identity and access management, vulnerability management, and continuous monitoring.

· Experience supporting security audits, control assessments, authorization reviews, and vulnerability management compliance.

· Knowledge of classified system operations, secure handling requirements, and authorization processes.

· Ability to evaluate technical designs for security risk and recommend practical engineering solutions.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in optimizing security workflows

· Professional, customer-oriented, and even-keeled under pressure

· Effective communicator at all levels, both written and verbal

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$81,300 - $170,700
