Internship Program Overview: 

Our Interns & Co-ops are our entry-level talent pipeline for GF across the globe. Our goal is to provide students with a meaningful work experience that will equip them with the skills to embark on a career in the fast-paced and growing semiconductor industry after graduation. Summary of Role: 

Located in Malta, New York, the Global Supply Chain & Sourcing Intern will support the US Regional Global Supply Management Sourcing team. The intern will help identify and execute cost savings opportunities, perform data analytics, streamline sourcing processes, and support supplier and procurement initiatives across the organization. 

Essential Responsibilities include: 

• Support analytics, sourcing projects, and cost savings initiatives with the GSM US Regional Sourcing team. 

• Analyze data using reporting and analytical tools including Excel and Power BI. 

• Participate in supplier interactions and support evaluation of new cost savings opportunities. 

• Document business process improvements, workflows, and sourcing best practices. 

• Create standardized reports and support projects focused on efficiency and process optimization. 

Other Responsibilities: 

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs. 

Required Qualifications: 

• Education – At least a sophomore at time of application and actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Strategic Sourcing, Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field through an accredited degree program during the internship. 

• Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and be in good academic standing. 

• Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal). 

• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Prior related internship or co-op experience. 

• Demonstrated prior leadership experience in school, work, or extracurricular activities. 

• Strong interest in leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity and decision-making. 

• Project management skills and ability to navigate ambiguity. 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

• Strong planning and organizational skills. 

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Power BI. 

• Strong analytical, research, networking, and problem-solving skills.
