The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:

What You Will Do
The Adoption Enablement Leader develops the capability that enables successful adoption of major transformation initiatives across Enterprise Services/Business Solutions. This role builds adoption roadmaps, playbooks, journey maps, and common standards that program teams, service owners, and SMEs use to drive readiness and sustainment to drive business outcomes across major programs and initiatives. The leader partners closely with multiple internal teams including Program Management (PM), Change Management, Communications, Knowledge & Education, and service owners—while ensuring adoption execution remain with the teams delivering the change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Program Management, Change Management, Communications, Knowledge & Education, and SMEs to embed adoption execution into program planning.

  • Develop adoption roadmaps aligned to project milestones and organizational readiness to show major programs at the Business Solutions’ level.

  • Create and maintain adoption playbooks and templates across Business Solutions.

  • Communicate to leadership at various levels Adoption Readiness across major programs and initiatives.

  • Define cross-program interdependencies and readiness checkpoints.

  • Provide adoption guidance and tools; ensure service owners and project teams maintain ownership for executing the change.

  • Support readiness assessments, risk identification, and mitigation planning.

  • Monitor adoption progress and escalate risks or patterns.

  • Build adoption capability across teams through coaching and continuous improvement.

  • Ability to assess impacts and readiness needs across different user personas and translate insights into practical recommendations to enable adoption

  • Teach and coach project teams on adoption frameworks and practices to build internal capability and enable repeatable execution

What You Will Learn

  • How to build and apply enterprise adoption frameworks, roadmaps, and playbooks that integrate with program teams, change management, communications, and education strategies.

  • How to assess readiness, map user personas, identify cross‑program impacts, and translate insights into actionable adoption guidance for project teams.

  • How to coach teams and leaders on adoption best practices, enabling scalable, repeatable execution and stronger business outcomes across major initiatives.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Organizational Development, Program Management, Communications, or related field.

  • 5+ years experience as a Change Lead, Adoption Lead, Business Readiness Lead, or similar-type role.

  • 5+ years leading or supporting large-scale organizational change efforts.

  • Strong facilitator capable of driving alignment and readiness discussions.

  • Excellent collaboration skills across multiple areas to ensure strong alignment

  • Strategic thinker with an enterprise mindset and strong understanding of end-to-end impacts.

  • Analytical problem-solver with the ability to identify gaps and propose actionable solutions.

Work Location: This is a hybrid role, eligible candidates must reside within commuting distance of Richardson, TX, Cedar Rapids, IA or Farmington, CT.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
