Main Purpose of the Role

This position works out of our Avon IN, location in the CRM Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) division. As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias or irregular heartbeats. Leads/supervises a team of pickers, packers, or forklift operators; first level manager of a work team that could comprise professionals, technical and/or administrative staff.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing shipping, receiving, stocking, and order filling.

  • Responsible for supervision of activities of distribution, involving the reception, delivery and control of inventory, with the objective of satisfying internal and external client needs within compatible terms and costs.

  • Verifies space and storage needs, evaluates the efficiency of means of transportation and proposes improvements in order to optimize the distribution process.

  • Typically without budget or hire/fire authority.

  • Focuses on mentoring, coaching, and coordination.

  • Ensure that that there is sufficient inventory to meet the organization’s needs by ordering products and managing out-of-stock over-stocked products.

  • Enter data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock records, retrieve stored information, place orders, or respond to inquiries (for example on inventory levels or delivery schedules.).

  • Monitor warehouse activities to ensure that goods are stored correctly and safely and warehouse space is used efficiently.

  • Monitor the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and protection of equipment and make recommendations for improvements.

  • Prioritize and assign tasks to ensure that the team’s resources are used effectively and that work schedules and targets are met.

  • Supervise staff to ensure that all warehouse activities, and all machines and equipment operated, safely.

  • Train new workers in the organization’s operating procedures and standards.

Required Qualifications

Technical Diploma (± 12 years)

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

3 to 5 years of experience in a leadership role in a medical device manufacturing operations warehouse or supply chain environment

The base pay for this position is

$61,300.00 – $122,700.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
