The role of Director of Integrated Planning for an SBU (Strategic Business Unit) necessitates a sophisticated mix of skills, knowledge, and leadership to achieve the company's objectives. The individual must have expertise in S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning), Material Planning, transformation, financial planning, and other areas that drive the organization’s growth and resiliency goals.
This position requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate across functions and ensure the alignment of supply and demand within the SBU. Proficiency in S&OP and ERP systems like SAP and Kinaxis is crucial.
It is critical for this individual to be an effective leader who can mentor supply chain professionals while developing a talent pipeline.
What You Will Do:
- This leader is responsible for driving the integrated business planning team for their SBU to optimize supply and demand for firm & non-firm throughout the 5-year horizon.
- Takes full ownership of the entire planning process for the specific SBU.
- Drives alignment of the MRP schedule, AOP execution, long term forecast, and is a strategic partner in the long-range plan (LRP) planning process.
- Identifies and corrects systemic planning issues and improves KPIs.
- Leads a robust sales and operations execution and planning process that is focused on decision making and actionable outcomes to meet business objectives.
- Beyond these primary tasks, this individual must also demonstrate a strategic mindset when it comes to long term demand and supply planning.
- This position demands excellent communication skills, as collaboration with colleagues from other functions is essential for aligning supply & demand for the SBU.
- Own short-term planning execution & long-term strategic planning throughout the 5-year horizon
- Be integrated into the SBU to understand business objectives ensuring the firm & non-firm schedule meets business requirements.
- Collaborate to ensure MRP is healthy to align PRISM and Kinaxis credibility.
- Be the planning representative during the LRP process to ensure a credible schedule is loaded into the LRP.
- Facilitate quarterly S&OP Executive Reviews & monthly S&OE meetings.
- Maintain accurate planning forecasts.
- Be the focal point to solve any planning-related issue within the SBU.
- Strategic partner in the LRP planning process, to ensure all demand/supply is aligned to meet commitments.
- Articulate how capacity constraints affect specific programs for the SBU. Understand root cause and corrective actions for mitigation.
- Drive MRP schedule integrity, predictability, and execution.
- Understand lead-times of all major programs – work strategies to mitigate / reduce lead-time.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years experience
- Experience with executive stakeholder management.
- Experience with S&OP and Planning elements/fundamentals
- Leadership experience managing people/teams.

Qualifications We Prefer:
- Master’s degree in a related field
- Experience in Supply Chain (experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Inventory Planning in an environment of both manufactured and sourced finished goods highly preferred).
- Knowledge and experience in MRP and ERP systems - inventory control, materials requirements planning, item master, demand planning, and advanced supply chain planning and analytics preferred.
- APICS Certification preferred.
- Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills, including multi-tasking and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, follow up and attention to details.
- Adaptable to multiple requests, daily changes, while still delivering on commitments.
- Data-driven with demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems and strong proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Must be able to work independently while still functioning well in a team environment.
- Able to communicate effectively with senior management, peers, and colleagues cross-functionally.
- People management experience including strong interpersonal and leadership skills: meeting facilitation, skill sharing and training, organization, conflict management, change agent, manage relationships.

The salary range for this role is 186,200 USD - 353,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
