Business Analyst
The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Business Analyst to join our technical operations team on a contract supporting Department of Homeland Security. The Business Analyst will work with the team to collect and define client requirements, analyze business and technical processes to recommend improvements and best practices, conduct documentation reviews and audits, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and collect and analyze service level agreements (SLAs) while collaborating with stakeholders to enhance quality and operational performance. This role supports program startup activities including creation of documentation and Management plans, process assets, Standard Operating Procedures, Job Aids and Work Instructions. This is direct support of a 24/7/365 environment for DHS sites in the National Capital Region.

Responsibilities:
Serve as the Business Analyst to assist in the interpretation of business requirements, processes, and project support. Responsibilities include:
• Support service delivery excellence functions of a large federal government IT services contract.
• Drive program startup activities by coordinating planning activities, analyzing the Statement of Work (SOW) for contractual requirements, and preparing critical deliverables to ensure contract readiness.
• Develop and maintain documentation including Management plans, ITSM processes and procedures, SOPs, Templates, and Workflows.
• Analyze business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and/or improved process improvements.
• Gather, interpret, and track business and technical requirements in support of Power BI dashboards and other technical projects.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ascertain system requirements such as functions, input data, output data, techniques, controls, User Acceptance Testing criteria, and execution of user’s acceptance.
• Maintain organized document repositories with current, easily accessible content.
• Conduct comprehensive peer reviews and editing, to ensure the accuracy and adequacy of documentation.
• Conduct Quality Reviews of documentation to identify improvements opportunities.
• Apply business concepts and theories to real-world decision making.
• Increase proficiency in specific business disciplines such as Operations Management.
• Create and distribute operational reports as requested.
• Facilitate projects and coordinate with cross- functional teams to produce better business outcomes.
• Host and facilitate weekly/monthly operational meetings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Able to obtain/maintain DHS Entry on Duty (EOD) suitability clearance
• A.A./A.S. + 6 years of experience or B.A./B.S. + 4 years of experience
• Previous experience with ITSM tool or ticketing system experience such as ServiceNow or Remedy. Able to create/generate reports and dashboards in ITSM tool.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft products such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio
• Understanding of LAN/WAN technologies and concepts
• Understanding of IT Service Management
Desired:
• Previous DHS or DoD experience
• ITILv3 or v4 Foundations certification
• Previous Network Operations Center (NOC) or IT Operations experience
