Junior Reverse Engineer
The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Junior Reverse Engineer to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. Join a team that tackles complex, multi-disciplinary problems spanning a variety of technologies. You'll have the opportunity to learn and explore new topics while leveraging your existing skills to address binary analysis and reverse engineering problems.
Responsibilities:
As a Junior Reverse Engineer, you'll contribute to a team that works hands on with state-of-the-art electronics. With your technical skills and learner's mindset, you'll perform basic analysis and evaluation of applications in support of the team's work on new technologies as well as your own professional growth.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
- BS in a related discipline and 2+ years of directly related experience.
- Ability to learn and grow as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Passion for solving puzzles and curiosity for how digital systems work .
- Experience working in a Linux OS environment.
- Basic knowledge of cryptography and cryptographic systems.
- Experience with a programming language, such as Python, Java, or C/C++ .
-Proficiency with written and verbal communications, with an ability to articulate technical questions and findings to peers in order to foster learning of self and team alike.
- Understanding of software architecture and software development best practices.
- Experience with binary analysis or software reverse engineerin.g
- Experience with tools such as Ghidra, Binary Ninja, IDA, JADX, x64dbg, or GDB.
Desired:
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and security principles.
- Familiarity with Android OS, mobile device debugging techniques, reverse engineering APK files.
- Experience with benchtop equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal/power analyzers, and multimeters.
- Experience performing micro-soldering.
- Experience with unmanned systems such as UAS, UGV, and USV.
- Familiarity with the programmatic use of APIs.
- Experience working with containers at a technical level.
- Experience leveraging interfaces and protocols such as I2C, JTAG, UART, SPI, USB, and Ethernet.

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
