Job Summary
• This role is responsible for accelerating digital print adoption and driving measurable revenue growth with leading brands, retailers, and commercial e-commerce players across the US packaging ecosystem.
• The successful candidate will operate at the intersection of brand engagement, packaging innovation, creative campaign activation, and digital supply chain transformation.
• This is a senior, externally facing commercial role requiring deep packaging expertise, strong market connectivity, and the ability to convert strategic conversations into scalable digital print volume.
• The role requires a highly connected packaging professional who can engage brand owners, marketers, procurement leaders, packaging development teams, supply chain executives, agencies, co-packers, converters, and print service providers.
• The individual must be able to identify high-value opportunities, shape compelling business cases, influence senior stakeholders, and drive opportunities from concept to pilot, production, and scale.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead strategic engagement with major US brands, retailers, and e-commerce companies to accelerate adoption of digital packaging and digitally enabled supply chain solutions.
• Develop and manage a qualified pipeline of brand-led opportunities that convert into incremental digital print volume, revenue growth, and long-term commercial programs.
• Build senior-level relationships across brand marketing, packaging development, procurement, supply chain, sustainability, innovation, and commercial functions.
• Identify market opportunities where digital print creates value, including faster time-to-market, SKU complexity, personalization, localization, seasonal campaigns, e-commerce packaging, sustainability, inventory reduction, and supply chain agility.
• Lead consultative customer conversations to uncover business pain points, quantify value, and position digital print as a strategic enabler of growth and transformation.
• Shape and sell compelling value propositions that connect creative potential with operational, commercial, and financial impact.
• Partner with internal sales, account management, marketing, product, finance, operations, and regional teams to move opportunities from strategy to execution.
• Work with converters, co-packers, and print service providers to translate brand demand into executable production programs.
• Support commercial negotiations, proposal development, business case creation, and executive-level customer presentations.
• Create and activate go-to-market initiatives targeting priority verticals such as food and beverage, health and beauty, consumer goods, retail, and e-commerce.
• Represent the company externally as a credible thought leader in digital packaging, brand activation, and supply chain transformation.
• Ensure disciplined pipeline management, clear opportunity ownership, and measurable progress against revenue, volume, and conversion targets.
Measures of Success
• Incremental digital print volume generated through brand-led initiatives.
• Revenue contribution from new and expanded brand programs.
• Quality, value, and conversion rate of qualified pipeline with leading US brands and e-commerce players.
• Strategic brand engagements converted into commercial opportunities.
• Velocity from concept to pilot, pilot to production, and production to scale.
• Strength and seniority of relationships built across brands, agencies, converters, co-packers, and ecosystem partners.
• Ability to influence internal teams and external partners to execute against shared growth opportunities.
Required Experience
• 10–12+ years of experience in packaging, brand engagement, commercial print, digital print, packaging supply chain, packaging innovation, strategic procurement, consumer goods, retail, e-commerce, or related industries.
• Proven track record of selling, influencing, or leading commercial programs with major brands, retailers, e-commerce players, or packaging buyers.
• Deep understanding of the US packaging ecosystem, including brands, converters, agencies, co-packers, packaging developers, procurement teams, and supply chain stakeholders.
• Strong existing network across brand owners, packaging decision-makers, creative agencies, e-commerce players, converters, and/or print service providers.
• Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth, close complex opportunities, and create demand in a consultative B2B environment.
• Experience connecting brand strategy, creative campaigns, packaging execution, and supply chain transformation with measurable business value.
• Strong commercial instincts, executive presence, and ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Ability to operate independently, build new commercial motions, and create structure in an emerging growth area.
• Experience with digital print, packaging innovation, short-run packaging, personalization, variable data, connected packaging, or e-commerce packaging is strongly preferred.
Leadership Profile
• The ideal candidate is commercially driven, externally connected, and highly pragmatic.
• This person should be equally comfortable speaking with a CMO about brand activation, a packaging leader about execution, a procurement executive about value, and a converter about production realities.
• They must bring the credibility, confidence, and commercial instinct to open doors, challenge assumptions, create urgency, and close opportunities.
• Success requires the ability to create demand, mobilize an ecosystem, and turn strategic brand conversations into measurable business growth.
Impact and Scope
• This role has direct impact on revenue growth, digital print volume, brand adoption, and the company’s strategic position in the US packaging market.
• The role will work across sales, marketing, product, finance, operations, regional teams, and external partners to build and scale a high-growth commercial motion.
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Packaging, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent industry experience and demonstrated commercial success will be considered.
Travel
• Regular travel across the US is expected to meet with brands, partners, converters, co-packers, agencies, and internal teams.
• Occasional international travel may be required.
The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $147,300 to $231,300 USD
annually with a 80%/20% (salary/incentive) mix. There are additional
opportunities for pay in the form of bonuses and/or equity (applies to United
States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related
knowledge, skills, and experience.
