JOB SUMMARY

The Analyst – AI Engineer will support the design and development of Agents, backend services, AI pipelines, and intelligent systems that leverage machine learning and generative AI technologies. This role is ideal for recent graduates or professionals with 0–2 years of experience who are eager to build strong foundations in AI engineering while working on real‑world, production‑oriented systems. This position requires curiosity, analytical thinking, and a strong motivation to learn - combined with an interest in building not just models, but end‑to‑end AI‑driven systems.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The primary responsibilities of this position are to:

• Developing AI‑driven systems, agents, and data workflows and maintaining AI pipelines, including data preparation, model experimentation, and evaluation.
• Build and support backend APIs, services, and workflows using Python/similar languages.
• Work on LLM‑based systems and GenAI solutions where applicable, including prompt‑driven workflows and automation use cases.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand requirements and contribute to design and architecture discussions, not just implementation.
• Work with real behavioural and operational data pipelines to generate insights and power AI use cases.
• Participate in documentation, testing, and continuous improvement of AI and backend services.

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Required:

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
• Programming experience in Python or similar languages, including building services or scripts.
• Solid understanding of core machine learning concepts such as supervised and unsupervised learning, model evaluation, overfitting/regularization, and basic feature engineering.
• Basic SQL experience and understanding of structured/unstructured data.
• Basic understanding of backend development concepts, REST APIs, and data handling.

Good to Have

• Exposure to GenAI tools and LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or similar, for building applications or automating workflows.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure (compute, storage, or AI services).
• Awareness of full‑stack concepts (frontend, backend, APIs), even if depth is stronger on the backend/AI side.

NON‑TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Strong motivation to learn and grow as an AI Engineer.
• Curiosity about how AI systems work end to end - not just models.
• Clear communication skills and ability to explain ideas logically.
• Willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver with quality.
• Openness to feedback and continuous improvement.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong academic foundation in programming, mathematics, statistics, or data‑related subjects.
• Certifications in AI, Machine Learning, or Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) are a plus.
• Demonstrated commitment to self‑learning through projects, coursework, internships, hackathons, or online platforms.
