We're looking for a Weekend Shift Production Supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, enjoys developing people, and is energized by solving problems and driving continuous improvement. If you're a hands-on leader who believes safety comes first, values teamwork, and enjoys helping others succeed, we'd love to meet you. Hours are Friday-Sunday, 5am-5:30pm.

What You'll Do

As the Weekend Shift Production Supervisor, you'll lead our Fabrication, Weld & Grind operations while partnering closely with supervisors across all shifts to ensure a safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operation.

You'll be responsible for developing teammates, improving processes, meeting production goals, and creating an environment where people can do their best work.

Safety Leadership

• Champion a culture where safety is everyone's responsibility.

• Train, coach, and hold team members accountable to safe work practices.

• Participate as an active member of the Emergency Response Team and/or Safety Committee.

• Develop and improve standardized work that enhances workplace safety.

Develop People & Build Teams

• Lead, coach, and develop production teammates to achieve individual and team success.

• Foster an environment built on accountability, respect, and continuous learning.

• Train and enforce company policies and standardized work.

• Motivate employees while helping remove obstacles to success.

• Serve as the primary trainer for Level 4 Board development.

• Partner with employees to solve problems and continuously improve processes.

Deliver Quality

• Ensure products consistently meet Life Fitness / Hammer Strength quality standards.

• Verify product conformance through inspections and process verification.

• Drive standardized work that improves product quality and consistency.

• Work proactively to identify and resolve quality concerns before they impact the customer.

Drive Operational Excellence

• Coordinate production schedules and collaborate with supervisors across multiple shifts.

• Plan, requisition, and verify materials needed to support production.

• Monitor workflow to maximize productivity and schedule adherence.

• Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives that reduce waste and improve performance.

• Develop and maintain standardized production methods that improve efficiency and reduce cost.

Roll Up Your Sleeves

• Support the production team by performing production activities when needed.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• 2-5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience

• 2-5 years of welding and/or grinding experience

• Strong leadership and team development skills

• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, drawings, and work orders

• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred

• Ability to prioritize work, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines

At Life Fitness / Hammer Strength, we believe in taking care of our team with a comprehensive total rewards package that includes competitive pay and a range of valuable benefits. The salary range for this position, intended for U.S. applicants, is $62,300 - $86,000 annually.The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Ramsey, MN and the actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.This position is eligible to participate in Life Fitness / Hammer Strength’s Production Bonus Plan, which offers the potential to earn additional compensation based on performance metrics. Bonus eligibility is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
