Vice President, Investment and Wealth Solutions

Responsible for driving new revenue growth and profitability across the Ascensus platform by optimizing existing asset manager partnerships, driving co-manufacturing and product innovation, and developing wealth solutions that help advisors and partners serve their clients’ broader savings and wealth goals beyond the workplace, all in support of partner efforts to drive client expansion. Accountable for the achievement of business objectives working in partnership with the leaders of Ascensus’ four lines of business as well as various centers of excellence.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Execution:
- Execute on a comprehensive strategy to drive revenue growth across Investment Solutions and retirement advisor-enabled Wealth Solutions
- Collaborate with business line leaders to align strategies and ensure cohesive execution across the organization
Optimize Revenue from Existing Partners:
- Identify opportunities to maximize revenue from current asset manager and distribution partner relationships
- Develop curated investment and wealth product offerings and complete solution sets to enhance value for partners, advisors, and their clients
Co-Manufacturing and Product Innovation:
- Explore and evaluate opportunities for co-manufacturing investment products with asset managers
- Drive targeted product innovations in areas such as private investments, stable value, QDIA/Target Date Funds, active strategies, and advisor-delivered wealth and rollover solutions
Wealth Solutions:
- Develop and package differentiated wealth and rollover solutions that advisors and partners can deliver to their own clients, extending the relationships they have built through the workplace
- Build advisor- and partner-facing lead and referral capabilities that connect participants with the retirement advisors who serve them, positioning Ascensus as the enabling platform rather than the advice competitor
- Evaluate opportunities for asset management partners to share in the growth of wealth solutions

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including asset managers, advisors, and internal business leaders
- Ensure alignment of economic models, incentives, and commercial differentiation approaches with organizational goals

Requirements:
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience
- Ability to drive growth of enterprise value through working with institutional partners, advisors, & large-scale distribution as well as through periods of transformation.
- Growth mindset with proven experience and strong results leading large scale complex business segments with significant growth potential with resources and partners across the US.
- Experience enhancing relationships with clients, advisors, and industry influencers and superior interpersonal skills with all levels.
- Demonstrated experience in retirement/savings industry, asset management, and wealth management channels, with understanding of products/solutions, distribution/service models, key competitors, and centers of influence.
- Understanding of advisor and rollover ecosystems and how to help partners and advisors serve their clients’ wealth needs across the savings-to-wealth journey
- Strong detail orientation. Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced, informal, and collaborative culture
- Ability to lead within a tech-enabled business and drive the development of suitable technology solutions and product and services platforms that deliver differentiation in the marketplace and effectuate great outcomes.

- Travel required
