Transformation Architect
Join CACI as a TS/SCI Cleared Transformation Architect supporting our Air Force customer at Langley AFB, VA or Robins AFB, GA. As part of the Enterprise Product Support (EPS) team for AF DCGS, you’ll help shape future system transitions—including cloud modernization—while guiding teams with strategic, technical, and architectural expertise. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building forward-looking solutions, partnering closely with engineering and sustainment teams, and influencing how mission‑critical systems evolve.
What You’ll Get to Do:
- Provide architectural governance and champion open, flexible solutions that support a responsive, Agile engineering environment.
- Collaborate with analysts and sustainment teams to validate operational workflows, demonstration threads, and CONOPS for the software baseline.
- Lead design and planning reviews for maintenance releases, system modifications, fixes, hardware refreshes, end‑of‑life replacements, and cybersecurity patching.
- Support the transition to automated tools and processes.
- Review and refine design documentation related to system sustainment and upgrades.
- Conduct technical trade studies to identify the most advantageous approaches for engineering change requests.
- Follow established configuration management processes and perform technical evaluations of Software Change Requests (SCRs).
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
- Bachelor of Science degree or 8 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience working with systems built on virtualized components across on‑premises or cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of virtual infrastructures, including compute and storage resources, virtual machines (VMs), and basic networking.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of the AF DCGS system lifecycle.
- Understanding of security principles and cloud compliance requirements.
- Exposure to FinOps and cloud cost management.
- Basic familiarity with software programming or scripting.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
