Training Specialist

Experience Level: Senior (Level 3) - Minimum 10 years experience
Clearance Required: TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
Location: National Capital Region (NCR) or San Antonio, TX
The Senior Training Specialist designs and delivers comprehensive training programs for the unified AMS/FIPE solution. This position develops training materials, conducts training sessions, and ensures operators and administrators can effectively utilize system capabilities. The specialist works with SMEs and development teams to create training that addresses user needs across multiple skill levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive training curricula and materials
- Conduct training sessions at various locations (NCR, San Antonio, Ft. Eisenhower, Hawaii)
- Create hands-on exercises and practical demonstrations
- Develop training videos and interactive tutorials
- Assess training effectiveness and adjust content accordingly
- Coordinate with SMEs to ensure technical accuracy
- Support user onboarding and transition activities
- Maintain training materials in current state with software updates
- Develop training assessment and certification processes
- Support development of in-program tutorials
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of technical training experience
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field (or equivalent)
- Experience developing training for complex software systems
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design
- Experience with e-learning development tools
- Ability to translate technical concepts for various audiences
- Experience training in classified environments
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Must be U.S. citizen
Salary & Benefits
The salary associated with this position ($99,000-$206,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.Nightwing offers medical, vision and dental insurance coverage in addition to a 401k plan, PTO, Holidays, and additional insurances.
