A Day in the Life
We have an exciting opportunity for a Training and Education Program manager, focusing on owning, developing and executing HCP learning pathways and programs, to ensure customers are knowledgeable on the safe and effective use of Medtronic Pelvic Health neuromodulation therapies. This role will include content creation, program management , faculty engagement and provider training. This position will partner with healthcare providers (HCPs), business leaders, medical education, sales and cross-functional partners to drive the education strategy, implement new education practices with expertise while leading across matrixed stakeholder partners. This individual works under the direction of the Pelvic Health Medical Education Director.50% HCP Trainings/Event management/30% NBA Management/20% Digital Education
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Develop and implement a Pelvic Health HCP education strategy and curriculum aligned with business priorities, to include clear learning pathways, objectives, target audiences, tools, effectiveness metrics, rollout and follow up plans.
Design, manage, and execute high‑quality HCP education programs that strengthen neuromodulation knowledge and clinical skills, including ECMT courses, webinars, and hands‑on training in collaboration with scientific societies (e.g., EAU, EUREP, ICS).
Lead the strategy, planning, management, and close follow‑up of the NBA program to support rising stars and nurses engagement impacting therapy adoption and clinical excellence.
Support the PH Medical Societies strategic collaboration and drive/execute specific initiatives with them while building and maintaining strong relationship.
Manage training program communication and processes across OUS.
Maintain strong collaboration with OUS Marketing, Clinical, Sales, and Commercial Operations to align education programs with business priorities and support marketing initiatives.
Drive innovative education approaches across in‑person, as well as digital, and virtual platforms, including LMS‑based learning and modern authoring tools.
Continue to develop and Expand Medtronic Academy content and utilization, working with the countries on promoting the content and leveraging it as a new channel for customer acquisition, penetration and attrition
Establish and maintain robust program tracking (KPIs), reporting, and evaluation processes to measure effectiveness, support decision‑making, and enable continuous improvement.
Ensure timely updates to course curricula and training content reflecting new product launches, clinical evidence, and market needs.
Provide guidance, coaching, and clinical education support to HCP and Medtronic faculty to enhance therapy adoption and procedural excellence.
Lead and influence cross‑functional teams to successfully deliver complex education initiatives and resolve operational challenges.
Support new hire programs as well as sales training programs with specific therapy and product knowledge, as needed.
Work cross-functionally with OUS Marketing and functional teams to maintain relevant, competitive, and up-to-date training content, and support key projects and product initiatives including use of Medtronic systems (e.g., Med Review, AMP, Cvent, Lightning)..
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clinicians, internal stakeholders, and professional societies through active participation in training programs, congresses, and educational events.
Maintain a high level of clinical and therapy expertise in disease management and Medtronic
Stay abreast of education and development industry research, (e.g. learning theory, motivation theory), and new methods and techniques.
neuromodulation technologies through continuous professional learning.
Travel requirements: 30-60%
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Sacral Neuromodulation or related Pelvic Health therapies; experience in medical devices, clinical training, field sales/support in medical device, healthcare industry or equivalent experience preferred
Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced international environment.
Proven ability to lead initiatives and coordinate resources across cross‑functional and geographically dispersed teams.
Strong relationship‑building skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clinicians, and external stakeholders.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex clinical and technical information clearly.
Customer‑focused mindset with strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving capabilities with the ability to drive continuous improvement.
High level of initiative, accountability, and self‑motivation with the ability to work independently.
Ability to adapt to change and manage evolving priorities in a dynamic business environment.
Familiarity with compliance and contracting processes (e.g., IRF, approval workflows) is an advantage.
Experience with digital learning and business systems such as LMS platforms, Educare, Engage, Magellan, MyBuy, or similar tools is a plus.
Proficiency in standard business software (Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Willingness to work within an international and cross‑cultural environment; role preferably based in or close to a major European city with hybrid/remote flexibility.
