This position is for an Electrical Engineer. If you enjoy working in hands-on multidisciplinary teams, the Test Solutions team (TS) in hearing from you! 

This position is 100% onsite in Tewksbury/Andover, MA

As an Electrical Engineer on this team, you will have a hands-on opportunity to design and integrate state-of-the-art test systems using the industry's latest tools. You will be a key contributor to the evolution of our products, ensuring our systems meet technical and performance goals in a highly collaborative environment. 

What You Will Do 

  • Design, develop, and integrate test products for complex systems within a multidisciplinary team 

  • Create test interface adapters, cabling, schematics, and detailed circuit designs 

  • Develop engineering and production test systems that align with cost and schedule goals 

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues during the development and implementation phases 

  • Utilize modern equipment including oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and power meters for validation 

  • Collaborate independently or as part of a team to uncover and resolve test product challenges 

Qualifications You Must Have 

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEMand less than 2 years of prior experience. 

  • Knowledge of electrical components including resistors, capacitors, and transistors 

  • Experience with test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers 

Qualifications We Prefer 

  • Experience with circuit design and analysis for analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits 

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or MATLAB for simulation and automation 

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities in a dynamic environment 

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities to meet assigned deadlines 

  • Experience in technical writing and delivering formal presentations

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
